Dunes at Whitesands

A aimé : Amazing site, really large pitches, and incredibly clean and well designed facilities. Richard and Fran were so helpful. Close to the beautiful beach at Whitesands. Fire pits and a picnic table included. A really well run beautiful site.

A aimé : Lovely secluded pitches with excellent shared facilities. Richard was very welcoming on arrival and the facilities were consistently spotlessly clean. No vehicles at the pitches apart from on arrival and just prior to departure made sure the site was peaceful and safe.

N'a pas aimé: Be aware that the toilets are a little far from the more distant pitches on the site (although there is a closer shower and washing up area).

A aimé : The size of the pitch was huge. Loved the picnic table and fire pit. Seeing the different birds and butterflies was heartwarming. Hearing the birds as we sat eating our breakfast was just glorious. The sea and the beaches were so clean and we enjoyed the walk along coastal path around Carn Llidi. Generous size shower blocks and toilets - absolutely spotless!! Area for dishes and clothes if needed A very handy hose and bucket for rinsing wet suits and a washing line ! Dunes at Whitesands is a real gem of a place

N'a pas aimé: The wind - not a lot anyone can do about that 😂😂😂 So Nothing really !

A aimé : The sites are huge and private. Whitesands Bay is less than a ten-minute walk from the site; St.Davids was an easy 10 minute cycle on a quiet lane; easy access to the Pembrokeshire coastal path. Spotless bathhouse. Host is lovely. You can’t see the sea from the sites, but if you walk a few minutes, you can see it from the gate. As much as I love being right on the ocean, it’s also really nice to be a little bit away and thus out of the wind! No WiFi on site, but the cell service was excellent.
