Riverside Camping

A aimé : Fantastic site nestled in a very beautiful setting. We were allocated a pitch opposite the park which the children LOVED! Facilities were great and very clean. Lots of activity space, and a lot of space for the children to run around as the pitches are nicely spread out. Location is great as well and easy to get around the area. Undercover play area for the children was a great addition, we didn't really use it as the weather was great [unexpectedly] but can imagine this is good if the rain had come.

A aimé : A beautiful site. The staff were friendly and the pitches are spacious and flat. I loved being by the river and falling asleep to the sound of it flowing. The toilets and showers are fantastic, spotlessly clean. It was nice to have the option of the bistro onsite although I only bought one drink there. The undercover seating and bbq area is a godsend when you're in a small tent and need to escape the rain! I will definitely be staying again.

A aimé : We loved everything about this place!We traveled for the weekend to relax and walk in the mountains. Riverside Camping was beautifully located, a very clean and well-kept facility. The staff were very nice and helpful. The owner is wonderful person who welcomed me and my family as old friends, gave us gifts from local farms, honey and delicious cookies!!! we were impressed ;) The house we stayed in was super equipped, comfortable beds. A great thing was the privacy where the house was located. I had the impression that it was just us and nature. I recommend it to anyone who wants to recharge the batters and relax ☺️ I will definitely come back to stay again.Thank you Riveside Caming 🙏❤️

A aimé : Beautiful camp site, really welcoming staff that were happy to do anything. Had a meal in the Bistro and it’s was one of the best we have ever had visiting a campsite. Facilities were really clean and was everything you needed. Really great stay, thank you, we will be returning!

A aimé : Great flat pitches, good size, well kept grass. Clean hot showers and loos. Friendly staff, warm welcome.

A aimé : This was a fantastic campsite - clean, very well laid out, with great facilities. I was warmly welcomed by the reception staff, who walked me to my pitch and explained where everything was located. I will absolutely be returning there!

A aimé : Lovely setting, very personal touch , well kept and a river right next to my pitch. Perfect !!!

N'a pas aimé: All good !! Shower button could release a little slower, save pushing it constantly . But hey ! Been to some that need to be held in.

A aimé : We have just come back from a 3 night stay at Riverside camping. When we first arrived the presentation of the gardens stood out, they are impressive and well maintained. Lovely greenery and flowers, very welcoming. We received emails prior to arriving of instructions of what to do which was helpful. We went straight to reception as asked and we met with Catherine, she was friendly and helpful. Catherine informed that they wasn’t that busy this week so if we wanted we could have a different pitch where we could see our children on the park, we took her up on this offer and it worked out great for our trip. Facilities nice and clean, due to it being quiet no issues with usage. Fresh flowers placed in the toilets which were a nice touch. We had a breakfast on site at the bistro that was lovely too. We went to a local quarry and a castle whilst away, all within a short driving distance. My husband and children had a go at fishing but did not catch, the weather was windy and very rainy at times. They spoke to some locals across the river who said they had a 13.5lb salmon this time last year. Children aged 11, 5 and 2, all had a great time and was sad to leave. Our dog also loved the trip, lots of walks for her. Wi-Fi was also great and no extra charge. Thank you for a great trip. We will return 😊

A aimé : Friendly staff, clean facilities and a well kept site considering all the rain we have had. Booking again to stop there soon.
