A aimé : EVERYTHING This place is incredible. From when we were met by Daryl the owner before he left to return to London and left us in the capable hands of his awesome Warden team. It is totally off grid, we travelled with a 15 and a 3 year old and we had the best time, we stayed for 1 night for a trip to Longleat and wished we had longer. The Yurt was so beautiful and comfortable, it literally has everything you need to sleep, cook, have a fire and be in nature. We couldnt have asked for more, the Warden (sorry forgot her name) was amazing with the 3 year old, loaned him walkie talkies to play in the woods and gave him marshmallows for the fire. This place is a true hidden gem, as a family we would 100% return and thank them for a wonderful stay

A aimé : We loved it here! When we arrived we were made to feel so welcome. They had everything you needed for a stay in the woods. very lovely management upbeat, smiley and helpful. I am looking forward to staying here again.

A aimé : 5 stars for customer service. We thought Zara was fabulous (and her husband)! I could not fault her customer service. Nothing was any trouble! Very genuine! She went above and beyond with little things the kids adored. They thought the whole experience was great! Thank you Zara. 😊

N'a pas aimé: OK so i do think few bits need updating around the site. Plus it was a rainy few days. The bell tent did feel a bit damp inside (bedding etc). I think on bright sunny summer warmer days it would have been fine.

A aimé : Absolutely everything! This place is so well thought out, incredibly well executed and extremely well run. We could not have been more welcomed and the little extra touches (lights, carvings etc) just make it beautiful.

N'a pas aimé: Not a dislike but more shower/toilet cubicles are needed.

A aimé : Hot tubs! And fire pits! Nicely spaced out site. Cute fairy lights when the sun goes down. Super friendly and helpful staff.

N'a pas aimé: Some noisy neighbours :( a lot of mud (not a lot you can do about that in the spring time!) Only one toilet available for quite a few groups of people.

A aimé : A beautiful, organic, natural campsite. Darryl was very warm, welcoming and thoughtful to what we may need. The fairy lights and decorative touches really add a magical feel come sunset. The no WiFi was excellent, allowing quality family time with the teenagers.

A aimé : Darryl has a great vision for sustainable living. He has harnessed solar power to make the whole site come alive at sunset. We loved the wood fired hot tub and certainly came out "lobster" like as it was so lovely and hot. There was lots of hot water in the shower and for washing up too. We loved the site, it is a special place. For teenagers, I would say that it would be wise to journey off site and visit RNAS yeovilton and Yeovil has a thriving city centre.

A aimé : What a great find! Stumbled on to this site and booked not realising it was their first weekend of opening - we wouldnt have known! Katie and Mick were super welcoming, leading us through the natural woodland to our yurt which was exactly what we expected - minimal but perfect. The whole site only has 12 pods so very secluded and quiet - at night as the stars and animals come out to play the solar lights lead you through the trees to a magnificent wood fired tub which was worth every penny… We even stayed up and went for another dip at 2am! This is a great setup with all the right stuff - even just little things like the stove and cutlery etc on site is another thing off your mind and we were blown away how good it was especially for a brand new site. Good work guys we’ll see you again!

N'a pas aimé: There’s very little to dislike about this site! It’s a brand new venture and I expect they’ll have everything ironed out super quick! It was lucky we’d taken a few more blankets as it was cold - but it was march! The only very slight downside is you can still hear the distant dual carriageway when the wind is blowing that way, but a super minor point.
