Lee Meadow Farm

A aimé : First of all, the owner was incredibly friendly. The location is quiet with a beautiful sea view, making it the perfect romantic spot to watch the sunset. The site also has a shop and kitchen where you can order breakfast and coffee. The showers and toilets were clean, and a lovely beach is just a few minutes away. Overall, we absolutely loved this place!

A aimé : The location is stunning and very good for the local beaches. The facilities are also very good.

N'a pas aimé: Nothing really to dislike. The freezer for ice packs was useful, but would also be useful to have a fridge.

A aimé : Very friendly welcome made aware of everything available on site ,including cycle path to ilfracombe and Woolacombe, great little farm shop where we bought farm sausages ,fresh scones ,clotted cream and jam

A aimé : Site was clean and family run! Facilities suitable for the children and adults, if they wanted. Nice little farm shop which had things you needed if you had forgotten. Would recommend to anyone, just for the views of the sunset! Staff friendly and helpful

A aimé : The camping was amazing ! We chose a pitch by the trees which was more protected from the elements. Wonderful view from the other side of the camping. Lots of clean showers and toilets. The dish washing facility was great as well. Fab Farm shop on site which served great food , pasties , coffee and essentials. Very handy as we are bored of trips to the super market all the time ! Kids ate a very tasty warm sausage roll every morning 😄 The reception had everything you needed - we forgot cutlery and needed some extra pegs and we could buy them from their shop ! We hired bikes and kids played around the campsite and the ramp . There is a nice walk towards the town Lee which is fab and Lee beach is great ! Next to it there is Sandy cove which is perfect for swimming! Amazing beaches around the area - Broadsands bay was fantastic as well - steep steps though so make sure you are up for a workout ! We had a wonderful trip to Devon and the camping just made it even better :) We also hired a fire pit which was quite handy !

A aimé : We stayed with family and friends. Lee Meadow is a great location - very close to Woolacombe Beach and Ifracombe Town centre. The Farm Shop on site was brilliant, we bought a chunk of our food there. The staff were wonderful and friendly, we also had a lovely greeting when we arrived. There were bikes for hire and a Zip line, so fun for adults and kids. Loads of space there and plenty of washrooms and showers. Would recommend to anyone, we had a blast and would come back again.

N'a pas aimé: These are minor things and perhaps personal preference. I would love a place for the ladies to plug in their hairdryers and straighteners as its really difficult to get ready in a tent. It doesn't have to be in the shower facilities but a small room nearby. There are other campsites that provide this facility and it does make a big difference to your holiday experience. My other thing is the pizza idea is brilliant and the first night we got there, we were so tired, we all ordered a pizza, but as a collective of 11 people, we all agreed that the pizza base is way too thick and we couldn't finish any of our pizzas due to thickness of the bread. A thinner base would be much more enjoyable as the toppings were really tasty. Half of our pizzas went in the bin, which I thought was such a waste of good pizza because we just couldn't finish them. Minor things but just some honest feedback.

A aimé : The pitches are spacious with plenty of room for our large tent, porch and car. There is a lovely huge space between the rows of tents for playing or just enjoying the space! There is lovely hedging between the fields. Staff were lovely. The shop is beautiful and the take aways looked very nice. Hire of fire pit brilliant idea.

A aimé : Everything! We loved everything about this campsite - from the location, to the staff, to the facilities to the laid-back relaxing atmosphere... Plus it's beautiful!

A aimé : Lovely, friendly safe campsite. Sadly the weather wasn’t on our side but it was fantastic we were able to enjoy the lovely home cooked food which was served from the farm shop. The BBQ was a no go due to winds. Staff were super friends and went above and beyond.. even giving me a much needed replacement peg!

N'a pas aimé: A small child’s play area/park would be brilliant.
