A aimé : Little Hartford is sublime. Remote, peaceful and beautiful everything we love. Rachel was so kind and hospitable. We loved that she came and spoke with us and we're especially interested in hearing about her family's legacy on the land and how she is now sharing it with others. The woods where we stayed were well maintained with clear pathways and our dog loved the dell with the stream at the bottom. Clean toilets and the hot shower was a luxury. Looking forward to rebooking.

N'a pas aimé: Limited internet service in the area. Not a problem for me but my husband struggled.

A aimé : Little Harford was exactly as advertised: tranquil and basic, which is what I was looking for. What I didn't expect was the warm welcome from the owner, who went out of her way to give me a guided tour of the facilities (shower, loos, glamping pod etc etc) on my arrival. I would most definitely stay again......lovely spot.....xxx

A aimé : Camped in the meadow by the woods. Only one other camper far away and a couple up in the glamping pod up in the woods. So we really felt like it was our space. Lovely! Beautiful site that is all about the setting and peace. Simple facilities but all that we needed for one night. It's almost like a wild camp but with the bonus of a mowed field - less chance of ticks - and a compost loo. There's a drinking water tap at the farm and a wheelbarrow to take your things down to the field from the parking. It's a bit steep but fine with a few loads. Had a perfect evening under the stars with a fire pit. The owners and folks there are lovely and really helpful. There is no signal on your phone so make sure you know where you're going and keep an eye out for the chalkboard signs. .y friend overshot and I had to wait quite a long time for him to return down the lane after he'd been all around the area! :) Not for people with access issues due to the slopes. But otherwise highly recommended for a simple, back to nature stay under the stars. We hope the return. We were two adults but it would be child friendly as it's just a nice back to nature place with a little brook to play by like I used to love as a kid and you could do baked potatoes and marshmallows on the fire pit.

A aimé : Thoroughly enjoyed the stay. So quiet. Rustic and clean. Very much ‘at one with nature’. Excellent host and great value for money.

N'a pas aimé: Depends on your view point, but pub and shop is good walking distance from the camp. Limited internet connection but that was a bonus for us.

A aimé : Thank you for a really enjoyable stay in your lovely glamping pod. We loved everything about the pod from the very comfortable cozy beds to the patio with all the fairy lights. There were so many extra thoughtful additions. The location in the woods is so peaceful and the welcome was so warm and friendly. (There is no WiFi it is a real get away and we didn't have children so didn't rate those two categories)

A aimé : Lovely small site, beautiful trails to walk the dog, away from hustle and bustle, helpful host. (The one stars are for NA-I had no children and there is no WiFi)

A aimé : such a gorgeous spot! such a lovely host! the place is just stunning, and we loved bathing in the little stream. it's very rustic, so composting toilets, a tap for water and a shower is being built. weak phone signal, so it's really back to basics!! lovely and quiet

N'a pas aimé: my only comment is that it's quite expensive. but you know the price when you book, so decide for yourself!
