South Penquite Farm

A aimé : This is a fantastic site. On arrival everything is clearly signposted, easy to find a pitch, so many choices. The ground was level and no bent tent pegs 😁. The washrooms were immaculate. The site has a great vibe, lots of wildlife as well as chickens, ducks and turkey's wandering around. Location wise, this site is perfect for runners, hikers and cyclists as you're straight out on to quiet lanes and Bodmin moor.

A aimé : Lovely location, the yurt was really nice and well appointed, the facilities were nice, clean and well kept, the animals on site were delightful and the ability to order pain-au-chocolats for breakfast was a really nice touch

A aimé : Brilliant spaces - could pitch where you wanted. Loads of space. Amazing location - on the moors. Lots for kids to explore/play on - they particularly loved the animals wandering around! Baked pastries from reception in the morning a lovely touch. We would 100% stay again!

A aimé : Can I say the site was so clean with brilliant facilities. We also loved the idea of fire pit with beef stir fry preped by the owner . So much to do there and will definitely stay again but longer next. Prefect location as central ro some big towns

A aimé : Lovely friendly & quiet site with good clean facilities. Exactly what we were looking for with a few things for the kids to do but with the focus on camping. The Dutch Oven / Cowboy Stew kit was amazing, would definetly reccomend doing that if you've not done it before. The two best selling points for us was firstly how relaxed/informal everything is, from picking your own pitch to the ability to have a small campfire. Secondly, the site is perfectly sized for younger kids who are old/sensible enough to want some freedom, I stayed as a single parent with two boys aged 7 and 10 and felt perfectly comfortable with them going off to the park or the barn to play while I cooked or tidied up

N'a pas aimé: Nothing, the kids both gave it 9/10 on the drive home and we'll defintely be back again. Hopefully we'll have some summer weather next time!

A aimé : Beautiful peaceful location with plenty of space to pitch up. Liked the fact that to get to the farm you either have to go over a rickety bridge or through a small Ford!! Free range chickens wandering with their freshly hatched chicks. Clean toilets and hot showers. Undercover barn with WiFi and table tennis table and play area for kids. Perfect place to relax and unwind for a couple of days. Will definitely be back!!😍

A aimé : Indoor and outdoor play areas for children Free roaming chickens, turkeys and ducks were a hit for my 3 little ones Clean facilities Flat pitches, able to pick your own pitch Option to pre order food for the evening and breakfast

A aimé : This was one of the best campsites we have ever stayed at. There was nothing this place hadn’t thought of. It was completely geared up for wild children, but equally so clean and well kept. We cannot wait to come back!
