Deaks Acres

A aimé : Our stay was really magical even under stressful circumstances. We ended up with a poorly baby and our hosts were so accommodating and friendly offering medicine and allowing us a more relaxed morning with an extended check out time. Once little one had some calpol and sleep we were able to enjoy the many animals on the smallholding and our one year old loved crawling over to sit next to Diana the pig. The stay was quiet, relaxed and charming and we’d definitely like to return.

A aimé : The pitches were really spacious and spread so we didn’t feel like we were close to anyone. The facilities were nice and clean. It was lovely to see all the different animals on site, perfect for families. Each pitch has a picnic bench and fire pit which were really handy. We loved it here, will definitely return when our daughter is older. Karen was so welcoming and friendly.

A aimé : Brilliant site, friendly staff and great facilities. Nice large pitches with our own picnic table and firepit. The petting farm was such a nice addition for children.

N'a pas aimé: Slightly expensive if you have a large family as its a 'per person' charge with no discount for children. However the site was definitely worth the money.

A aimé : Great pitches with picnic tables and fire pits. Useful open air kitchen with kettle and gas stove and firefighters and marshmallow forks. Eggs for sale. My son loved being able to access the farm to take a look at the animals and Diana the pig. Showers nice and warm and loos with flush and basins with hand soap. Phone network strong. Peaceful and well organised - a gem.

A aimé : We had a lovely time staying at Deaks Acres for a couple nights; the campsite had beautiful views and was quite peaceful. The hosts were friendly and showed us around the farm. The kitchen/ bathroom facilities were also well equipped and clean. Overall, would definitely recommend a stay here.

A aimé : Very quiet and peaceful with farm animals as a bonus. Loads of space between pitches with everything you would need. Clean toilets and showers. Karen was lovely and very helpful.

A aimé : Karen the owner was really helpful and friendly. My 6 year old son loved her. She took time to show him all of the animals and we felt totally safe letting him run around. The campsite is fantastic. The showers and toilets really good and I love the animals being able to run around. This was a hidden gem that we found and I am so glad we did as will definitely come back.

A aimé : We came back there after last year nice experience as really it's all we need. My girls are 8and 10yrs old . My friend had 9 and 5yrs old girls. Children spent all that time with animals.
