N'a pas aimé Allocated pitch was too far from electric post therefore had to move motorhome off of the pitch.
Bucket with dirty water found in both toilets. Shower and toilets were absolutely filthy.
Definately would not stay here again.

A aimé Second visit to this site, first one being in our tent, this time we were in our camper van, we where on the same pitch as first time (1) when it was much dryer then it was this time, pitch was pretty water logged, very friendly owner who give my partner lots of useful advice with us been new to the van life, we do love this site and Rippingdon in general, we got the bus to Halifax and there’s some great local pubs!

A aimé Small but everything you need,very close to the village and shops etc,nice riverside walk

A aimé Friendly welcome. Good location, easy walk in to village for pubs, food, Co-op etc. Good for walks along the river. Easy access via public transport to local towns .

Our dog loved it!

Toilets/showers/washing up area clean .

But just a couple of points to bear in mind . There is no toilet seperate from the showers, if you are in a camper with no loo, you may have to wait first thing in a morning for someone to have a shower, leg crossing was required 😉

Couldn't see a recycling area so brought ours home!

A aimé Spacious pitch, toilets kept clean great facilities, nice and peaceful .

N'a pas aimé Weather not great ( nothing you can do about that) but pitch that we were on was very boggy / muddy next to the shower block, but other grass pitches looked fine.

A aimé Location, pitch. Easy booking in / out. Value. Lovely local facilities. Walking local & bus routes to Halifax, Hebden Bridge. Picnic bench on pitch. Clean showers and hot water for washing up

N'a pas aimé Grass part of pitch can be very wet / muddy. Depends on weather obviously, but hard standing is great.

A aimé Lovely quiet site, great for walking/biking/relaxing, close to shops, pubs/restaurant. We went fully serviced, however there is a shower if not.

A aimé Took campervan with an awning and was £80 for 2 nights with 2 small dogs and the awning. Pitches felt a little close together but can see that on the site photos. Shower rooms are really roomy but cold as it was end of March when we visited. Had brush and mop and bucket in there which was great to keep down the mud we had trailed in on our feet. Shower drains could do with a really good clean as they were thinck of hair.

Lovely little stop over, would visit again, but would maybe go in warmer weather. Owner very responsive to text messages when needed to contact them.

Lots of little cute shops and pubs around about that you could walk to, although alot of them don't have long opening hours, so take that into consideration when visiting.

N'a pas aimé was hard to get a happy medium (heat) in the shower, think this is because it was electric, also the outdoor tap for washing up sink was very cold, was better to boil kettle and use that for dishes.

A aimé Quiet, nice area, nice village, local to us. Perfect for our first time using our new touring caravan.

N'a pas aimé We didn't notice to put the A-frame in first on arrival as the service post is on the opposite side when reversing in.
