A aimé : The setting was lovely as first drive up to the site

N'a pas aimé: Everything advertised in the pictures was not as close as it was made out In the pictures, the pitch was just a field and everything in walking distance was 45minutes away! We ended up booking another campsite within an hour of our arrival and left beech farm, I’m so glad we did as the other site( we stay at regularly) was so much better

Pitchup ask their advertisers to post pictures of lovely things to do nearby, but I’m not sure what made you think they were onsite, pictures of a nearby lake for example don’t have our campsite in the forefront, it’s all in the description. Yes Stamford bridge is about a half an hour walk, but I don’t think we should be marked as a 2/10 for that, rather you should have put our postcode into your map app and calculated the walking distance to Stamford. It’s only a 5 minute drive. We don’t advertise that we are anything more than a field with great views and clean but rustic facilities with Stamford bridge a couple of miles away, so being given a bad review for being exactly as described is quite frustrating

A aimé : Nice quiet site. Kids loved the donkeys, goats and chickens, lots of room for kids to run around. Showers nice and hot, toilets and pot washing facilities on site all nice and clean. Toilet roll and hand wash available in toilets. Hair dryer, freezer and kettle were a bonus.

A aimé : Really helpful text prior to arrival for directions to the site. Well equipped with toilets, showers, bins, water, fridge & freezer, kettle etc which was a massive bonus and clean!

A aimé : Stayed on hard standing with tent next door. Very helpful and accommodating, great communication. Lovely quiet site, new clean facilities. Will visit again.

A aimé : Loved everything about the site, great atmosphere and a beautifully maintained farm. Freezer, hairdryer and electric kettle were a perfect addition to a great weekend-we can’t wait to come again! Thank you

A aimé : great facility. with lovely clean wash/toilet/kitchen area. Very easy to get to, nice views and quiet.

A aimé : Location was good, facilities were okay. Nice that there were animals around, it was mostly peaceful apart from one nearby family blasting a radio all hours of the day but can’t fault the place

A aimé : Welcoming, friendly owner, beautiful surroundings, loved the farm animals, well kept site with all the basic necessities and the odd added bonus like kettle and hairdryer 😊 Lots to do in the local area, highly recommend going to the Dreamery Gardens and the Stamford Chinese is fab!

A aimé : The site was very clean and tidy. Plenty of space for your pitch and could choose where you wanted to be also so if travelling with friends can pitch together. Great site!

N'a pas aimé: Not a dislike as such but a park for the kids would be amazing. I know it’s a new site so maybe on their to add on list!
