Orcaber Caravan and Camping Site

A aimé : This was a very well run site. The toilet and shower facilities were immaculate and everything was clean and well organised. There were a lot of people there, but enough space to not be too close, and there were nice countryside views. The location is good - close to Ingleton and Settle and the 3 Peaks.

N'a pas aimé: Having to pay for showers - it was a long way back to our spot when I forgot my 50p!

A aimé : Lovely quiet site, facilties immaculate. Arrived a little late , in the dark, was greeted by Jamie who came to meet us and shouted us to our pitch. Nice big pitches so reversing in was no problem. 100 yards to toilets was ideal. Woke up in the morning to sunshine and great views.

A aimé : Very clean showers (50p for 10 minutes ) & toilets block. Loads of room on a very well kept, flat grass field. We had a small VW T4 with a small Pup tent and camped for 2 nights on a grass non-electric pitch. Fantastic location for walkers and exploring the surrounding region.

N'a pas aimé: Quite loud and busy (until 11pm, when everyone complied with campsite rules of no loud noise after 11pm, and it was beautifully quiet). The campsite was absolutely fantastic for families with children and larger groups, but our personal preference is for something smaller and quieter with not so many pitches. Although to be fair, we are turning into a pair of grumpy old gits and go to bed early... This is no reflection on the campsite though, it's great.

A aimé : Campsite was spacious and the views were amazing! Showers and toilets were very clean. The shop was well stocked and great that you can hire a fire pit and some wood!

N'a pas aimé: Pizza Saturday was only available until the beginning of September, would have been really handy especially with children.

A aimé : I booked Orcaber campsite the night before I went away which was swift and easy to do so and for £14 couldn’t go wrong. I arrived at 19:00 and someone met me when I arrived. Staff were kind, helpful and friendly. I stayed on Thursday night in my VW camper. The site was not very busy when I stayed which was perfect and there was ample space to pitch up. The facilities were excellent and the were clean and tidy. Showers were excellent with warm running water and the 50p for 10 minutes is ample. Around 15 minutes either direction to Settle or Ingleton. Will definitely be returning and would recommend to families, solo travellers anyone. 10/10

N'a pas aimé: Toilet areas a little too open for me personally and shower changing could do with being more spacious.
