From Saxmundham you can set off in any direction to explore rural Suffolk. Head East onto the Suffolk Heritage Coast or North to the Norfolk Broads.Additionally trains run to and from London/Lowestoft with connections from Ipswich to the whole of East Anglia. More locally there are places to vist and explore with the sea just 5 miles away. There is also an indoor pool and leisure centre at Leiston, just 4 miles away. Other attractions include: The delightful towns of Aldeburgh & Southwold, Dunwich Heath & Forest, English Heritage castle at Framlingham and Orford, RSPB bird reserve at Minsmere, Snape Maltings and concert hall, Out Of Africa zoos at Diss and Kessingland, Pleasurewood Hills theme park at Lowestoft and we are a good base for the Latitude music festival at Henham.
