A aimé : Good facilities and nice level pitches. The cafe was well ran by lovely staff and had a great menu. The walks from the site were lovely and it is right on the edge of the Forest of Dean. It was a 10 min drive into the middle of the forest.

N'a pas aimé: Quite close to the road so noisy when boy racers were driving past at 10pm each night but quiet other than that.

A aimé : Received a message to tell us which pitch to stay on, so we didn’t need to ‘check in’. Lovely peaceful site, with lots of walks in the woods nearby. Dave the owner, was very friendly and told us a lot about the site. Also loved the cafe/ restaurant on site, which sold an excellent range of food and drinks to either eat in or take away. There was plenty of room in the of showers, and toilets were very clean.

A aimé : Grass was mowed.. cafe appeared to be busy and efficiently managed.

N'a pas aimé: Pitch was wet and muddy. Was offered a dry pitch but that had a wasp issues and we are not talking of the odd wasp! We declined that pitch and although the pitch had been classed as wet by the manager we were not offered an alternative even though there was lots of spaces. Therefore we left a day early and will not return. Bathrooms and loo tired and only superficially clean.

A aimé : Great location. The site was well maintained and clean. Facilities were great. The onsite cafe/restaurant was excellent with a nice selection of food. Very friendly staff.

A aimé : Really friendly campsite which tried really hard to ensure that any issues were dealt with. Great hot showers ! The cafe looked really good and was very popular although we didn’t eat there

N'a pas aimé: The automatic light in the dish washing room was not working. The lights in the toilet were not working properly and were flashing on and off. WiFi was free yippee but poor connectivity

A aimé : Easy booking , spotlessly clean showers and toilets . Lovely cafe on site serving wide variety of food and shop for essentials. Friendly owner .

A aimé : Beautiful site dave the owner meet us at our pitch very friendly welcome had a WhatsApp message before we got there with our pitch number very clean and tidy site toilet we're clean heated and plenty of showers the cafe on site was lovely and cosy feeling had our dinner there one day lovely meal and the staff are friendly we went with 2 dogs and were welcome in the cafe with them both down the road our 2 dogs loved the forest went there 2 times a day with them I'll be booking up again for September for a week this time very happy with the site thankyou

A aimé : Spotless toilets and showers. Although I recommend putting your clothes on the chair whilst showering. Mine got a little wet. Pitches were immaculate and well maintained. The cafe has nice good value home cooked food . The whole site is very dog friendly. I would love to stay there again
