A aimé Quiet site with plenty of space. Friendly owners who were happy to assist. Loved the quirky shower - water plentiful and hot. Loved Poo with a view compost toilet. No smells that we’ve had on other sites. Liked that we could walk to the local Mayfly Cafe with little farm park.

N'a pas aimé Grandson was hoping for a few farm animals as per blurb on Pitch Up but did hello to the chickens & turkeys.

A aimé Enjoyed the peace & tranquility of the site but was only a 5 minute walk from the town. Hosts were friendly, approachable & always willing to assist. Showers were clean with plenty of hot water. Plenty to do in the area - only used the car once during our stay. Station for the Steam train right on your doorstep.

N'a pas aimé No washing up facilities but we got hot water from the shower so not too much of a hardship.

A aimé Fully enjoyed our 4 night stay at Lower Porthamel Camping. Hosts were very friendly without being intrusive, very knowledgable and happy to share their knowledge of the area. Site was very clean with great toilets/showers & washing up area. Use of fire pits was a bonus which made the evenings cosy. The site is very relaxing with walks from the site. Yes the site is on a slope so you pitch accordingly. Lots to do in the area which is only a short drive away. Talgarth 5 mins by car 20 mins walk has a co op & a friendly pub. Will definitely be returning.

A aimé Great position of site being only 15 minutes walk into Hay on Wye yet the site is surrounded by green hills. Very peaceful.

N'a pas aimé No hot water for washing up, but using our own washing up bowl we got hot water from the shower - job done!

A aimé Love the peace and tranquility of Warren Farm. Owners a lovely and make you feel at home. Small and not commercialised. Clean toilet, shower and washing up area. There’s lots of walks on the doorstep. Can walk into Bromyard from the Bromyard Downs. Plenty of wildlife. Love waking up to the bird songs.

A aimé The hosts who were very friendly. The remoteness, peace and quiet. The rural feel of the site.
