A aimé Truly everything about this site! Its the most incredible set up we have come across whilst camping. There are are only 10 pitches max across such a wide area, meaning you can feel like you have the place to yourself even when its fully booked. You have the freedom to pitch in the wooded area, or meadow - both of which offer great spots to relax and enjoy the peace of the surrounding countryside. The compost toilets were the most pleasant we've experienced and the availability of a hot shower was a welcome bonus. The owners are absolutely lovely & we will most definitely be back!

A aimé This is such a wonderful peaceful site, there was only 1 other tent during our stay. The facilities are great for such a small site, heated toilet block, nice shower and everything you could need for your stay.

A aimé Stunning views, private feel to the pitches surrounded by small trees. Perfect location for exploring the lakes. Hosts were lovely and explained everything there was to know about the site on arrival. Lockers available to charge phones for free which was really handy. Small site so nice and peaceful, able to get a good nights sleep without being disturbed.

N'a pas aimé If I had to choose something I'd say its the site being on a steep hill!

A aimé The location is fantastic, straight onto walking paths from the campsite including the cinder track down to Hayburn Wyke waterfall. Lovely surroundings, great views. Quiet adult only site, only 5 pitches plus a camping pod so not too many people. Well laid out, nice size pitches. Facilities are good, 2 toilets plus a payable shower. Kept nice and clean during our stay

A aimé Location is amazing, only 10 minutes from Matlock. Incredible views The pod itself was the best we’ve ever stayed in, spacious, warm, comfy bed Clean facilities Helpful staff Tea, coffee, hot chocolate in the pod The price is fantastic, great value for money

A aimé The location is absolutely amazing. Really rural setting surrounded by fields but within easy access of Bakewell & Buxton. The site itself is lovely, toilets kept really clean and they don't allow the site to get too busy. The people who run the sight are lovely & visible, we saw them a couple of times every day and were on hand if you needed anything. Would definitely return!

A aimé The site is great, its location is perfect for access to Coniston water and you can be at the lakeside in around 5 minutes walk. The facilities were clean and the site is really well managed. We stayed in the camping pods and they were really cosy with great amenities including kettle, chair, heater and electricity. The site is set within woodland so really relaxing and feel like you’re getting some quality time in nature.

N'a pas aimé The only downside was the camp beds. They’re very uncomfortable so would recommend bringing an air mattress to put on top!

A aimé So cosy! Everything you could need for a little break and more. Waterfall shower, all kitchen facilities, electrical appliances, lovely surroundings
