A aimé Location very convenient from M5. Peaceful at night so a great nights sleep. Rustic layout. All the little birds were lovely flitting about on the riverbank. Good for both sunset and sunrise views. Love the nice shower gel and hand-wash. Would recommend on grounds of location for anyone travelling m5 in need of a stop

N'a pas aimé Not suitable for high top vans due to overhanging branches on route in, needs a bit of sorting as a branch must have been broken off recently and jutting into path. Think i missed the arrival info somehow, but luckily other campers told me to just park anywhere and showed me where to find a water tap. Couldn't get hot water for shower in morning, maybe its solar and better later? Couldn't get shower doors to shut properly.

A aimé Total peace and quiet. Good location. Quirky and friendly. Handmade and very rustic. Eco friendly. Friendly campers just getting back to nature. Lovely horse to say hello to.A world away from the big campsites, this is back to basic. Loved the shower, but would prefer to pay more and have the wood provided, as I had no cash so had a cold shower - not a problem in this week's weather though! I had a lovely walk, although the river was largely obscured my himalayas balsam it was a beautiful wander listening to the sounds of the water, and the birds. After a cracking night's sleep I felt very relaxed and rejuvenated. Nice communication before arrival too.

N'a pas aimé The rickety fence and stile to the loo. I have a bad back so climbing over this in the dark onto uneven ground wasn't my thing, a little reinforcing and something like a post to steady yourself would be great. . When I arrived I wasnt sure which facilities I was meant to use. Also cos of the fences I wasn't quite sure if things like the tables and bbq were things I could use or not? A couple of rustic signs would sort this

N'a pas aimé Loo doors rather tight, its a bit of a squeeze and easy to squash the person waiting outside!

N'a pas aimé turned up - empty site, pitch dark, no lighting anywhere, or in farmhouses, pouring rain and dark so couldn't see where to park or if field was waterlogged. booking was accepted, but maybe they had shut? i don't know, but i didn't feel happy especially as on my own, so drove away again

A aimé straight forward site. decent toilet block, nice walk along the river and wish we had had time to explore more. showers looked good but sadly didn't try them as didn't have any coins (silly error on our part). pub was friendly, owner nice and chatty. flat field. the little accomodation pods looked really smart too
