A aimé Great site hard stands are nice and level.
Field looks well cared for and large so plenty of room for campers and vans.
Also clubhouse is a great addition with games and a bar and plenty of comfy seating for socialising with campers.
N'a pas aimé Dish washing water was cold but adequate.
And toilets could do with a freshen up.
But it’s a new venture for the guys will sure get to it in time.

A aimé We had a mixture of caravans and tents and stayed for the weekend.
The site was clean and welcoming nice large field with lots of options of pitches and good space between neighbours.

A aimé Well spaced sites, just 6. Our field was gently sloping and we needed to put a chock under one wheel.Tents and camper vans had their own field and facilities. Restaurant on site where we had a good meal with wine tasting experience. Lovely campsite with mature trees, allotment for the restaurant, so no food miles. Pleasant walks for humans and dogs and well placed for excursions to places of interest.
N'a pas aimé Nothing, looking forward to visiting again.

A aimé We arrived at Cwm Deri for the August bank holiday, we saw our names on the board next to the pitch number which was a nice touch.
The grass and soil were very wet due to the rain and at one point we did think we would get stuck with the car and caravan however this was avoided! Phew!
There are only 6 grass pitches for the caravans which was fantastic as it provided space and gave a certain amount of privacy. The water to fill the water roll was in close proximity and the waste water etc was by the toilet so very convenient.
At the bottom of the pitch located in a hut was a toilet, this importantly was clean and always had plenty of toilet roll, hand soap and paper towels.
We didn’t utilise the other facilities as our own facilities were used in the caravan.
We had plenty of phone signal with O2 and used our own data so didn’t use Cwm Deri’s WiFi.
The first evening we had booked into the restaurant, we were warmly greeted and made to feel very welcome. The food was very tasty and the veg and salad was home grown from the vegetable patches.
During the evening we partook in wine tasting and was thoroughly enjoyed.
We had a lovely weekend and explored some beautiful parts of West Wales. We would definitely book to go back to Cwm Deri!
N'a pas aimé The only issue for us was the 6 amp electric. The first night we boiled the kettle and had our water heater on in the caravan which tripped the electric fuse. We were very mindful after that to ensure we only had one thing plugged in at time so as not to trip the electric.
Modern caravans rely more heavily on mains electric especially if being self sufficient so possibly an upgrade to 16 amp would be a good addition to the site although this hasn’t put us of returning to Cwm Deri.

A aimé Quiet location
Very local to Bicester
N'a pas aimé When we arrived we were informed which bays we would be using. The electric stands for our pitches didn’t work, we reported this to a staff member she wasn’t sure why the electric wasn’t working. She contacted the owners son as owners were away. Owners son was out at present but would be returning later. We asked for an extension lead to connect to other electric stands. These were supplied to us. After two days subsequently found out the stands were turned off and electric main was in a locked toilet block which was out of use for Winter. Our electric was turned on so we were able to connect to the stands for our bays.
In the men and ladies toilets to get hot water you have to turn the taps to the cold setting and cold to the hot setting.
