A aimé Really lovely campsite, plenty of space, flat pitches, great location for the countryside and right next to the reservoir. If you’re looking for peaceful amd not bothered about facilities it’s great. I loved it. Simon was really helpful, thank you for the fire pit!

A aimé Lovely site, really good feeling to it, good facilities, shop on site, helpful staff. Good value for money. I only stayed one night would have loved to stay longer!

N'a pas aimé For the price for a single camper the facilities were woeful, single portaloo and one stand tap.

Réponse du gestionnaire : Hello It was a very late booking and you arrived around 9.30pm on the Friday night and going dark and left early the next morning on your travels. We only advertise a portaloo and no facilities so this obviously is not the site for you in the first place before you made the booking . Sorry we cannot please everybody but please read the options in future and removing the need to leave a negative review which does not help others making their decision. I expect your preferred choice was full when decided you needed somewhere late on Friday.

A aimé Perfect spot for Offa’s Dyke hiking, very welcoming and nice to have the pub/camp combination! Also good to have a hot shower.

N'a pas aimé Only one toilet and one shower both in the same room with half doors, so difficult to manage and feels a little exposing.

A aimé Lovely location, felt remote, but perfect for enjoying the Lakes along with the sea air. Katie and Louise were so friendly and very accommodating. Facilities were clean and everything we needed for a few days feeling a bit wild. Brilliant fire pits too! Be prepared for wind (great for a spot of kite flying) but it’s offset by the most beautiful sunsets.
