N'a pas aimé Wheelbarrows monopolised by some campers as storage until the Sunday so they could carry things back easily, road in was uneven but manageable, children and dogs quite loud overnight.

A aimé Ease of booking, lovely farm animals, portaloos were maintained well and there was a fresh water tap. Quick drive to the nearby beaches and villages.

A aimé Brilliant site in a wonderful location.

N'a pas aimé People removed my tent pegs whilst I slept and with it being windy, it wasn't fun.

A aimé Beautiful views, perfect level of other campers (enough to feel safe, not overly crowded) and walking distance to Whitby's most popular attractions.

A aimé Everything. Utterly brilliant chaos I didn't expect on a night but for the right reasons. Everyone was so welcoming but also gave space. Site was clean, bar was fun and the late check out time really reflects the fun they want you to have on an evening.

A aimé The little shop was useful, the pub was great, the facilities were clean.

N'a pas aimé The midges - obviously not the fault of the site but they were BRUTAL the night we stayed. Repellent isn't enough - consider midge nets.

A aimé The site is well presented, the toilets are super clean and smell lovely, the lake is beautiful and the animals are gorgeous. The owner is really friendly and pointed out the communal area to me.

N'a pas aimé Nothing to dislike. If you prefer to be really far away from other campers, you might prefer somewhere else, but you get a generous pitch size and enough space/privacy at Woodside.

A aimé Second time back in a fortnight, brought Mum along this time! Liked the site as a whole, everyone is so friendly and the facilities are good.

A aimé The animals! So many happy animals that are happy to have a gentle stroke and pictures taken. The site was clean and tidy, with plenty of toilets and showers. There's a shop, food available and a bar, though I used none of these, it was good to know they're there. It was a quiet and respectful site, the other campers were all friendly. Site was easy to find/access.

A aimé Perfect for the price. Beautiful surroundings with basic amenities (bins and toilets). Close to the beautiful pub with friendly staff.

N'a pas aimé Nothing because it was as described - some people may prefer more going on - READ FEATURES.

A aimé The water and the sheep made it feel really cosy and looked beautiful. Will was really lovely. The site has water and waste disposal facilities and is surrounded by beautiful scenery.

A aimé Beautiful scenery, immaculate site, close to a lovely pub. Easy to find, close to a stream.

N'a pas aimé Very far from shops, but this is why it is so peaceful and clean - just remember to bring everything you need!
