A aimé Wonderful campsite. It was well maintained with toilets and showers cleaned regularly and well stocked with toilet roll etc. The pitches were a good size and they don’t pack too many people in so there is plenty of free space for playing. It’s a lovely quiet spot, and they don’t allow music or large groups so everyone can enjoy the peace and quiet. The surrounding area has some lovely countryside and walks.

N'a pas aimé Over crowded. Hundreds of people and only 2 showers and 1 tap for water - we spent most of the weekend in queues.

Réponse du gestionnaire : Hi Simon, As you can well imagine to receive a 1* review is incredibly disappointing for all of us here, who work hard to make Penn Meadow Farm, the absolutely incredible place that it certainly is. We’ve had a fantastic summer welcoming many many families to come and enjoy our farm, say hello to our lovely farm animals and also enjoy a great nights camping. We’re always very open to constructive criticism, however this review doesn’t feel particularly constructive. We do have big plans ahead of next season including brand new toilets, showers and additional washing up facilities. That being said, you did stay with us on a lovely and sunny bank holiday weekend in August. As you can probably imagine that is very much our busiest day in the calendar. While we do have 3 gorgeous mains showers and toilets we did also make additional provisions in rented toilets foreseeing that it was likely to be a busy weekend. I would very politely suggest taking a little bit of time to read through some reviews before you make the decision to stay at a campsite or somewhere similar in the future. While we have many lovely reviews, it is noted that we need some additional facilities. It seems that your disappointment could have maybe been avoided with just a quick scan of some of our previous reviews. All the best for the future. Frankie - Owner

A aimé Fishing lakes were great. The wide open spaces. Peter the owner was welcoming and helpful.

N'a pas aimé The lack of washing up facilities. Unfortunately there was a music festival going on in Bristol which we could hear. Some of the site was untidy, and if Peter is going to go for the luxury cabin market he need to clear up some of this. He also need to screen of the large containers and fish tanks.
