A aimé Location, friendly, quiet, wild and free. The owner greeted us and was very friendly, we love the fact that it is wild and flexible, not busy and peaceful. Toilets were very clean.

A aimé Lovely not overcrowded or commercial very low key, lovely nature around perfect for us and great sunset from the tent. Simple easy set up.

N'a pas aimé Mud by the gate car almost got stuck it would be nice if some gravel can be put down

Réponse du gestionnaire : Thanks for the great review and feedback- we are dealing with the gate area by improving drainage and topping up the gravel- we'd had a very wet few weeks not long before your stay.

A aimé 23/08/2022 not having to cook you can stay and eat from the van break, lunch and dinner and great quizz night (although) I did not take part - Owen was super helpful when we had a tent pump disaster!

A aimé Toilets/showers were clean, always hot water, toilet paper, and never had to Q The location was great with the beach a short drive, with a local cafe across the way and a very useful hardware store and Co-op up the road We did a lot of exploring and found the location great Vango Sims in the PODS were comfortable Firepit provided was great, with the firewood delivery service really handy Plastic bench with packing space outside Bus shelter to store a bike or sit under if it rains You get 3g phone signal on Vodaphone and EE

N'a pas aimé It was my first experience of a POD this is just a personal view they were comfortable but get in and out you literally have to crawl in and out and very compact space and tip if you going out and about and it's hot leave the window open and we slept the doors open too as it was too hot. When they say bring everything else and leave your tent I would pack clothes, kettle, and one small clear box with essentials and the cooler box. I made the mistake of packing too much stuff. This is no reflection on the campsite at all just an observation to try and help others reading reviews who my experience may help. No one was there to check us out at 10.39am, when check out was 11am and we had to write a note for them to call us to take payment for the extra wood

A aimé It is our 3rd time here and we love it. The staff very friendly, porter loos are always clean, have toilet paper and hand sanitizer. Very well-thought-out campsite and lovely having the pigs, sheep, and chicken to greet as the local residents. The bar is well stocked with lots of options (they did run out of Processo but then again we were celebrating a 50th!) Shows you what a great time we had. Would highly recommend this campsite. Very relaxed atmosphere, love the upgraded sofa's and firepits really great camping experience and we will be back!

N'a pas aimé The only thing I would suggest is perhaps having a no-touch hand soap by the sink too and some still like physically washing hands too.

We are sorry about the Prosecco, it seemed to be the most popular drink of the weekend. Thank you for your comment about the soap. We had placed two bottles by the sinks which somehow vanished. We rectified this as soon as we realised. When you are on site if there is anything you are unhappy with please let us know and we will do our best to get it sorted. We do hope to see you again! :@)

A aimé The hedge around each pitch made it cost & private. Shop was well stocked, cheap and delicious bacon rolls on granary rolls. Staff were super friendly. The toilets, showers were spotless and drinking water easy to access, walking distance to the beach.

A aimé Everything, location, farm shop, staff very friendly and the food was so delicious, those bacon sandwiches are the best. Great that you don't have to bring too much with you if you fancy just pitching your tent and having a BBQ and having breakfast their you can buy everything you need from the farm shop and then just relaxing watching the sunset, chill on the sofa by the firepit and taste the grand options at Trotters bar.

A aimé Really in the forest, cafe is excellent and very affordable. Was quiet as the very start of the holidays, we planned to stay with family in a motorhome but personally found it too cramped so last minute requested if they had other accommodation for us and the only thing free was a extreme tent for 6-8 people but we were so desperate paid £66 for one night in a tent but have to say we laid our blankets and had our sleeping bags and the best nights sleep I have ever had in a tent and the best part was no packing up and the facilities are fantastic, electric lights, tables, bbq and loads of wood for a campfire. Staff are friendly and helpful, toilets and showers were heated and clean and great easy access.
