A aimé Well cared for, pretty site located on the River Isle. Good choice of pitches - shaded, partly shaded or full sun with most nicely defined by hedging. Lovely pool that we used every day to cool off in the heatwave. Good facilities.

A aimé We have stayed at Camping du Bois de St Hilaire before and can highly recommend. Huge pitches, good facilities and welcoming staff.

A aimé We only stayed one night, but will definitely stay longer on our next trip and take full advantage of the pool and restaurant. Lovely site with huge pitches and friendly, helpful staff.

A aimé Our second stay at Camping La Pointe. Great location on the Canal with a lovely walk into Chateaulin. Pretty, well maintained site with good, spotlessly clean facilities.

A aimé Immaculately kept site. Facilities clean and nicely decorated. Good sized pitch and the swimming pool was 10/10. Would recommend staying here rather than on the coast. It was a shame we only booked one night, but will definitely come back for longer.

A aimé We have stayed at La Fortinerie before and it never disappoints. The pitches are large and the site is pretty. Still have the best bathrooms in France :) Tina and Julian are the perfect hosts.

A aimé What a wonderful find La Fortinerie is! The owners are lovely, the pitches are large and the site is so pretty with plenty of extra relaxing spaces - my husband especially loved the hammock. Special mention for the bathrooms - best I’ve ever seen on any site. We wished we had stayed longer and will definitely be back.

A aimé Peaceful, pretty site with friendly staff , large pitches and excellent showers and toilets. Great location. One of the best sites I’ve visited in Cornwall.

A aimé This pretty and peaceful site is run by new owners Cheryl and Steve who couldn’t be more welcoming and helpful. The pitches are huge, level and with plenty of shade from the hot sun. We had a fantastic few days camping at Ruisseau de Treil in the Vallee du Lot and can’t wait to go back!

A aimé Our second overnight stay at Camping Merlin L'Enchanteur. Peaceful site, with good sized pitches and a clean sanitary block. Owners friendly and helpful and we would recommend.

A aimé Our second stay at Camping Maisonneuve. We stayed 2 nights this time, travelling south. I would be more than happy to stay for longer (if only we could get longer off work!!). It really is such a nice site and we had a lovely meal at the restaurant. No doubt we will be back again!

A aimé The site is located high up, so there are superb views (but only from the front line pitches, which we did not have, unfortunately). The owner was friendly and helpful and there is a nice pool, bar area and restaurant (which we did not use).

N'a pas aimé We had to walk a long way to the sanitary block as the nearest one was not open.

A aimé What a lovely site set in the forest, with plenty of shade, but with nice open areas too. We only stayed one night, but would really have liked to have stayed more. Very peaceful and we hope to return for a longer stay in the future.

A aimé We loved this small, rustic, rural site with a very friendly and helpful owner. Plenty of shade from the hot sun on good sized pitches and a great location for exploring Lot. Pool was lovely and pizzas (delivered to our van door!) were delicious. Showers etc. were always clean with plenty of hot water.
