A aimé Great site with friendly owner KT always happy and checking if everything is ok this is site run by KT and you can tell her enthusiasm for this site is about making us campers have the best time .Pitch areas are very generous allowing lots of room and facilities were spotlessly clean. This is a new site and bits are being added with some great ideas going forward but that does not mean the site isn't camper ready by any means we had a fantastic time there. Overall it is a quite site run by a friendly chilled Lady who has the passion to make it a resounding success and would definitely stay here again thank you KT for a great week♥️

A aimé Nice well kept tidy site with great views. Relaxed atmosphere pick your own spot put up your tent and enjoy camping as it should be and used to be. Three field's you choose it's that simple. Owners come around and see if all is ok and offer firepits for use in the evening. Facilities are clean and presentable with the shower costing £1 for five minutes. The showers are large enough and provide a good hot powerful shower with ample time. Possibly a good idea as this generates a fair time for all as some sites I've waited half an hour for some people. The site is relatively flat with short grass and pitching was easy in the ground for a large tent. Nice to have quite after 10pm every tent seemed to respect on our visit. Great area for walking climbing etc and close enough to get to leek for provisions being just a few minutes by car No mod cons but that's how it should be (reconnect to nature) Nice to see a few red kites around the area

A aimé peaceful site with stunning views over combe martin bay. Run by a a family that are very friendly always happy for a chat and to give a few pointers of ideas or information of the area.we felt nothing was too much trouble for them.It is a working farm so lots of bits going on and lots of wildlife around.The added extra showers installed are excellent and facilities are very well laid out all cleaned regularly to a high standard by the owners. With the added bonus of fridge freezer / kettle / toaster and microwave if needed in a chalet great for storing milk and butter etc. great to have a bbq and campfire and watch the fantastic sunsets. we will definitely return to girt down farm without a doubt it was a super break and enjoyed every minute thank you to all
