A aimé For positives, there were 3 toilets and a washing up sink. The site was also beautiful with countryside views all round and cows next door. The pitches weren’t sectioned so we could pick wherever which we liked.

N'a pas aimé Unfortunately, around 7pm the farmer came over to check us in, and informed us on a campfire/bbq ban. We had not been made aware of this ban, and one of the main reasons we picked this site was for campfires being allowed (noted on the PitchUp site and on email too). We believe a campfire is one of the best parts of camping, as we use it to cook our food, and keep everyone warm. If we had been informed of the change of policy prior to our stay, we would’ve cancelled, however we ended up spending a lot of money and drove around 2 hours for this site just to leave before dark. It’s such a shame, we just wished communication was better from the site. An email for the change of rules, or even the farmer checking us in at the start instead of 5 hours later after we set up. It just ruined our whole experience, and we went home very unhappy.
