A aimé A nice clean, but basic site. The owners were friendly and helpful. A nice walk down hill through the woods to the beach. Not so nice walking back up. We had the entire beach to ourselves and found lots of sea glass.

N'a pas aimé The single track, very bumpy road to the site was pretty terrifying. Especially when we met a car coming the other way. With no passing places, one of us had to reverse

A aimé Everything. An easy half hour walk into Seahouses. The site is nice and clean as are the facilities. My missus loved being able to see the pigs. The only gripe I had was that some of the other people on the site were driving too fast for a campsite with people/ children walking around. I know that is not the sites/owners fault but a few 10MPH speed limit signs wouldn't go a miss.

A aimé Nice clean site situated just 8 miles (20 minutes drive) from Ripon and the market town of Bedale. The owner is lovely. Hes always pottering about somewhere and will come over occasionally to see if everything is ok with your stay or just for a chat. There are 2 toilets and 2 showers (they have M and F written on the doors but the owner told me someone else did that and they are actually unisex). There is a 17th century wall surrounding the field that, for obvious reasons, you are asked not to touch. There's a fresh water tap and elsan point. There are electric hook ups on most pitches, if not they will sort one out for you. Seriously, the owners couldn't be zmore helpful if they tried. There is a lovely pub called The Black Horse Inn in Kirklington just a few minutes drive away. Not only that but, the Heck sausage factory is just down the road and they have an open day on a Saturday 9am till 1pm and a farms market with stalls selling alsorts of pies, cakes, cheeses and drinks

A aimé Campsite next to a pub. Good views. Mostly level pitches. Toilet/shower block clean and heated.

N'a pas aimé Obviously no fault on the site or owners part but visited during storm Ciara and it was bloody windy

A aimé Lovely grounds to walk round. Apple trees, chestnut trees and mushrooms everywhere. Free entry to the hall. A short bus ride into Newark with a bus stop outside the gates.
