A aimé Ligging aan het strand, goede tussenstop voor doorreis naar het zuiden.

N'a pas aimé We hadden onze camperplaats al in maart via Pitchup gereserveerd en vooraf per e-mail contact gehad over de geschiktheid voor onze 7,5 meter lange camper. De camping bevestigde dat de toegewezen plaats geschikt was. Bij aankomst ontstond hierover toch opnieuw discussie en moesten we bijna twee uur wachten voordat een passende plaats beschikbaar was. Daardoor voelden we ons niet echt welkom. Daarnaast bleek de uiteindelijke rekening €4 hoger dan de prijs in onze Pitchup-boeking. De receptie vond dit zelf ook vreemd, maar het werd niet uitgezocht of opgelost. De camping bestaat grotendeels uit vaste staanplaatsen, waardoor de sfeer voor passanten minder gastvrij aanvoelde. Tijdens ons verblijf waren er bovendien regelmatig blaffende honden vanaf de vaste plaatsen. Er ligt een militaire schietbaan naast de camping waar regelmatig wordt geoefend (van de 3 dagen 2 maal aanvang 7.00 uur). Heel veel muggen!

Upon your arrival, which took place before noon, you were offered three pitches suitable for the size of your camper, including one that was scheduled to become available at 3:00 PM, and you chose that one. Check-in for pitches is planned for 3:00 PM, and in your booking, you indicated that you would arrive at 4:00 PM; had you arrived at that time, you would undoubtedly have found the pitch free. In any case, instead of asking you to come back at 3:00 PM, we allowed you to settle into a vacant pitch while you waited. The pitches are not mostly occupied by seasonal guests. However, as the campsite was fully booked, we understand that this may have been the impression you had. Our campsite is frequented by many guests of all nationalities, and everyone is welcome, including dogs, as we are a pet-friendly campsite. To fight the presence of mosquitoes, we carry out treatments periodically, but being located within a pine forest with a hot climate, it is very difficult to eliminate them entirely. We try to do our best, even if it is not always enough.
