A aimé The location is amazing, so peaceful. The outdoor space is secluded and perfect for enjoying the sunshine and the firepit. The indoor space is very well laid out. I left the sofabed in bed position for my stay but it would have been easy to move. The shower was excellent and it truly is a benefit to have the shower and toilet within the hut. The log burner is very efficient, I used it in the mornings to take the chill off, it didn't need much timber to get the hut nice and warm.

N'a pas aimé There are metal steps leading from the parking area to the field, they are well built and not slippery, but there is no mid height rail on the barrier, only a top hand rail, which made me a little nervous as I'm rubbish with heights.

A aimé I stayed on Farm Field which is just off the main road but it is very quiet at night. The (new) showers are amazing, spacious with plenty of hot water. The toilet block includes a small dish washing area. These are kept very clean. The staff were brilliant, logs and fire pits available. I only stayed one night but I hope to return. The Kentish Horse pub is a short walk down the road, doing traditional pub food and has a nice garden with children's play area.

A aimé Really lovely site, with fire pits available to hire. Open-air showers with plenty of hot water, toilet block and water point all located in main field. Adjacent adults only field too.

A aimé Warm welcome by owner, great location, nice pitch, clean facilities. The farm includes cows which are in an adjacent field so you can go and see them.

N'a pas aimé Minor point you need 2 x 20p coins for shower but change available onsite. Only one shower and two toilets in the female block, not a problem when I stayed.

A aimé Location near main routes into Cornwall. Friendly welcome on arrival.

N'a pas aimé Grass pitches are sandwiched between gravel roads which were dusty and noisy. If you have any type of caravan or camper get onto the hard standing pitches. The nearest toilet/shower block was out of action but the showers in the next block either had no hot water or were leaking.

A aimé Friendly owners, clean toilet block with covered area for washing up. Nice spacious pitches and wonderful to be able to swim/paddle in the river. Don't be put off by the trainline, no overnight trains and even in the daytime you hardly notice them.

N'a pas aimé Need 50p for showers - you do get 5 mins and supply of coins at reception to swap. I didn't realise this until onsite.

A aimé Friendly staff, great pub onsite, clean toilets and showers. Right next door to a watersports lake which gave us a nice view whilst walking the dog. It was quiet when we stayed but the pitches looked to be a decent size and reasonably well spaced.

A aimé The tea shed offering free hot drinks and a sheltered area to wash-up. The family shower rooms were spacious and the individual toilets were fun (little individual sheds). We particularly enjoyed being about to borrow a fire pit with BBQ grill and being able to buy logs onsite. We had paid in advance online and didn't speak to the staff whilst we were there but clear signage lets you know how to get hold of them if you need to.

N'a pas aimé As warned the lanes are narrow as you approach the village and the site. We couldn't see a price for the bags of logs in the honesty shop but after some debate we think we left enough money.
