A aimé We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend this campsite. It was easy to find, the pitches were spacious, and the site was peaceful with no traffic noise, which made it feel really relaxing. The individual toilet and shower rooms were a particular highlight. They were well stocked, clean and well maintained, and the shower had great pressure and a good temperature, always a bonus when camping! The washing-up station was also spacious, clean and tidy. We really liked the little extras too, such as the fridge/freezer, swap shop and charging point. The welcome pack was a lovely touch and was really informative, and it was particularly handy having a bin bag and recycling bag included. Richie, the owner, was fantastic. He is really friendly, welcoming and a genuinely lovely chap to have a chat with. We also really enjoyed watching the starlings while we were there. The location was great for us too, as it wasn't far to drive to many of the local tourist attractions, while still feeling peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle. Overall, we had a really enjoyable stay. The site was clean, well maintained and had some really thoughtful touches that made camping that little bit easier. We'd happily stay again!
