N'a pas aimé I pitched up after the reception (cafe closed) at 6pm. This feels a little early. Perhaps there could be a board that gives information to late comers?

A aimé Price was reasonable for a backpacker compared to some of the outrageous prices holiday parks charge.

A aimé 1. The best campsite shower I’ve ever had. Lean and spacious shower cubicles. I always shower post-walk in the late afternoon/early evening so never have any trouble with there being a wait. 2. Good size pitches that are level with short grass. Perfect for my two-man trekking pole tent. 3. AMAZING value! 4. Close to the shop, cafe and most importantly - the pub.

A aimé It was close to the WHW and reasonably priced. Would stay again.

N'a pas aimé Quite a large amount of the ground was slightly waterlogged (I get that’s it’s Scotland) and out of the site’s control. I didn’t like the communal showers (I prefer individual cubicles). Also quite a small site so the tents are close to each other.

A aimé Nice flat pitches which were very private due due to the grass mowing. Clean compost toilets.
