A aimé Lovely little pitch in the middle of nowhere and an easy 2 mile walk to an absolutely great pub (the Green Man). Easy pitch up and electric hook-up. Washing up shed is great. The working farm was great - seeing all the animals in the next field. Couldn't heard the scouts from the site but nice hear them singing and enjoying themselves as we walked past to the pub.

N'a pas aimé Nothing much... slight niggles: Toilet block was OK but a bit tired. About a 4 degree angle on the pitch but chocks reduced that significantly. Grey waste disposal for containers but not direct from motorhome tank

A aimé Friendly welcome with all the facilities and amenities you'd need. Well laid out with lots of space between pitches. Mostly clean and tidy. The servicing point is good... ideal for grey water disposal either in smaller drains around the site for containers or a drive over drain for motorhomes. Toilet disposal was good and there was plenty of water supplies around the site. Electric is quite close to the pitch and, although a little bit of a faff inserting a card issued by reception and having to go back for any refund in the morning, it was OK. The grounds are lovely and there are some excellent walks on the doorstep.

N'a pas aimé The shower/toilet blocks are, like so many sites, old and tired. They are clearly cleaned but there's only so much they can do with facilities that could probably do with being refurbished. Fortunately they don't seem to clean higher up so all the cobwebs catch the bugs! We chose to use the facilities in our vehicle instead. No WiFi

A aimé Clean, tidy and good facilities. Great restaurants very near by. Helpful welcome. It's perfectly located if you are taking part in the white water rafting based on the same site (which we weren't!)

N'a pas aimé Strangely, a little too "clinical"... signs up for all sorts of rules and locks on everything but I guess, if you need a sign, people must do these things and if you need locks, people must abuse the facilities.!?

A aimé Everything. This was by far the best site we've stayed at (although this was day 9 of our first ever motorhome holiday). The site is easy to get to but far enough out of the way to be quiet. It's easy to get in and the owners were really friendly and helpful (and interesting to chat to). The pitches were all lovely, and some are particularly private, being surrounded by well placed trees. The power is right by the pitch water is conveniently located around the site. The toilet/shower facilities were easily the best we've seen - really clean and roomy "pods". The facilities for the vehicle were also top notch. There is a "station where you can park and empty grey water direct from the vehicle while filling with fresh water and a conveniently located and well designed toilet disposal point. It's dog friendly and there are also some great local walks. There is nothing bad to say about this site - it's as pretty much perfect as it gets!

A aimé Friendly and helpful staff. Nice pitch. Cafe's OK and food was good. Large area for dog to run on a long lead. Fairly quiet

N'a pas aimé Like so many sites, the showers/toilets were tired so we opted to use the vehicle's facilities.

A aimé Pretty much everything! The welcome was friendly and helpful. The pitch was excellent - level, gravel with electric and water right there. The site was clean and tidy, as was the toilet/shower block. In fact, the facilities were one of the best we've used. The grey water disposal was well positioned and the toilet disposal was well planned and laid out. It's closer to the loch than advertised and ideal if you like walking and/or birds. Also ideal for dogs.

N'a pas aimé The only issue was than when emptying the toilet cassette, the foul waste drain clearly couldn't take a small inrush of fluid as it came back up from a drain situated in front of the disposal point. It was only quick reactions in jumping that prevented my feet being soaked with what I had just put down :( I subsequently found that it would cope if you empty slowly but that's not ideal when you are trying to flush/shake out everything in the cassette.

A aimé The welcome from Callum was friendly and helpful. The pitch was fine... grass, close to the electric hook-up and fairly close to the fresh water supply. In fairness, this was only our second night ever in a motorhome so we didn't look for grey water or toilet disposal. Dog friendly with a large area to let her run on a long lead.

N'a pas aimé The toilet/shower facilities were fine but, as we found throughout our first ever trip away in a motorhome, like a good proportion of campsites, they were a little tired. The toilets were OK but we opted to shower in the vehicle.
