N'a pas aimé They have a rally field, which on our weekend was a Dog fest. We love dogs as we have a very reactive Dog ourselves. We were just grateful that we had chosen to leave him at home that weekend. If we had brought him, it would’ve been a very stressful weekend for all of us due to him being reactive with other dogs, and as you can imagine the whole site was full of dogs. It was lovely to see all the dogs and as I say fortunately, we didn’t have a problem. I just think perhaps a telephone call to them in future to check what event they have on the rally field would be best.

A aimé Ord House Bar & Grill….OUTSTANDING!!! Food amazing, hot & plentiful. Staff amazing. Surroundings in the adult only bar was elegant & sophisticated. Children’s lounge area was bouncing with fun, singers, bingo etc etc Didn’t go into dog area but it looked ok.

N'a pas aimé I had requested a quiet area away from trees. I got the quiet area but the van was not only placed under trees but under an apple tree which shed apples over the top of the van during the night hence no sleep. In fairness the whole site is full of trees however there were areas we could have been place that would have been more suitable. My argument is why ask for comments, upon booking I asked for quiet area away from trees. If they take no notice of the comments get rid of the comments box. Also the water tap was spitting water everywhere,(fully serviced site) upon reporting this as we arrived at 5pm we were told there was nobody available until the next day. (My husband went to screwfix bought some tape & fixed it) Caravans packed in, nice big plots but no chance of reversing in after everyone else was sited because the road between is so narrow so unless you got a motor mover would be very difficult. My husband is a whizz at reversing & even he struggled. REMEMBER - This is my opinion & my experience not saying you should not book it as we all have different expectations & experiences. I wouldn’t return but I would recommend it - I think that’s a fair review.

A aimé Stunning grounds Fishing ponds, ducks, heron etc Very well manicured lawns & trees. Quiet area. Fully serviced sites with plenty of space Adult only Dog walking area as well as around the lakes. Showers/toilets Great WiFi

A aimé Had everything for camping/touring. Fresh water, grey water, electric, toilet disposal, dishwasher area, washing facilities, showers, etc etc Tony greeted us and was lovely & gave us a full run down of site facilities and is always on hand. Exceptionally clean. Little dog walking area. Beautiful views & wildlife. Soooooo quiet. Free WiFi which worked a treat.

A aimé Nice flat pitch. Quiet site Great location Love the little shower/toilet huts Got everything required for a tourer. Answers all queries promptly There is no WiFi (which we don’t care about WiFi) sorry ticked by mistake now won’t let me undo 🤦‍♀️

A aimé When you turn up, there is an information board and it has your name and pitch number on it so you know exactly where to park. The owner popped round to see us all and check that we were okay and let us know that she was just down the road if we had any problems. Dog friendly. Everything required for a touring caravan, including grey water, clean water, chemical disposal & recycling.

N'a pas aimé There was nothing to dislike as the website details everything to let customers know that there are no showers, toilets, wifi on site.

N'a pas aimé Unfortunately we were under some large trees and the weather was very blustery which meant the cones were dropping on the van all night and the branches were lashing the roof so got very little sleep. But these things happen when your camping 🤣 Not the owners fault so will definitely book again but will make sure am away from overhanging trees next time. 🙈

A aimé Large pitches. There are reserved signs laid around the site so if you are in a camper you can stick this in the ground to save your spot when you go out. Dog friendly. 🐕 Great base coast only 15 mins away. Quirky Individual cabin toilet/showers which were spotless. Friendly staff Jess was just lovely and on arrival showed us to our pitch (Though you can just choose your own) Becky who we spoke to on the phone was also lovely. Quiet site just how we like it. 😊 Electric, water, chemical/grey water waste. No WiFi & phone signal hit & miss but we don’t care about that because we come to get away from everyone so it’s not a negative for us 😂 Is child friendly though there was not any children on site while we were there.
