A aimé Lovely peaceful stay at this countryside retreat checking out the nesting buzzards & woodpeckers . It's a layed back flat grass site with hot showers , toilets , pot washing & elsan point . We were surrounded by campers in a mix of tents , campervans & caravans all chilling in the beautiful surroundings . Great to hear little kids laughing & playing on tree stumps , it's a back to nature vibe , although the nearby Farm sells supplies & the pub is a 15 minute stroll so not totally self sufficient & cut off from the outside world 😉 Try it , & feel the stresses melt away 🙏

A aimé Nice open farmland views , picked a pitch on the grassy slope, would advise wheel levellers for a good night . Had a peaceful overnight stay & would recommend if you want a reasonable no frills self sufficient stop over . Water & electric is available & after crossing 2 or 3 fields found the Old dog Pub , result .

A aimé We had plenty of level grass pitches to choose from on site with great views of Scarborough & the East coast . Great rural setting next to the farm. 2 Showers , toilets & waste disposal are adequate but could do with more clothes hooks , sink plugs & door locks fitting . Good value , peaceful & recommended 👌

A aimé We had a good night in our campervan in this quiet & beautifully peaceful setting . The 24 hour toilet & shower was a bonus & we enjoyed a cooked breakfast at the pier cafe . Interesting place with waterside walk & climb up to the view point by steps . There's a gift shop & booking office for the loch cruises to check out too .

N'a pas aimé Payed for a shower facility but there is no info as to where it is or how to access it on our booking email confirmation . We arrived after the booking office was closed , but luckily a helpful cafe staff member was just leaving .

A aimé A peaceful grassy pitch set in an apple orchard with water on tap & if required an electric hook up . Great views & close to a restaurent serving quality breakfast & evening meals . Toilet available during open hours .
