A aimé shower and toilets very clean, staff very friendly.

N'a pas aimé gate locked from 10pm to 7am,if you had to leave in a emergency you couldn't brochure shows beautiful lakes, we did not find any big lakes but large ponds. could not walk through woodland signs on gates saying no walkers. bit disappointed really, and no wifi unless you sit outside the office. not being picky of disrespectful to the staff but pointing out and hopefully they may improve

Réponse du gestionnaire : Hi Bob. Thanks for posting your review, we value each one! We do feel we should address your points in the interests of balance. It is true that we secure the site from 10am until 7am - this is pretty much an industry standard to protect both the park and our guests. The procedure for emergencies requiring gate opening are listed at the reception notice board, in the attached information leaflet given to every guest, and explained at the induction on arrival. Staff are on site 24 hours should the need to leave arise. As described on the pitch up website, the lakes (fishery) and woodland walks are not part of our touring park, but are nearby features. The Pitch Up site doesn't advertise that Wifi is available as it is not available site-wide. However, it is available free of charge at the reception area.
