A aimé Quiet, comfortable, spacious campsite with some of the best facilities I’ve ever experienced camping. 😊 Highly recommend. Very friendly staff who helped us check in later than expected too!

A aimé A lovely quiet camp site with spacious pitches and incredible views. The owners were very lovely when we first arrived and showed us around the site. They had excellent facilities, even with heated toilets and shower rooms! We only ended up staying one night unfortunately as our tent was getting a battering from Storm Dave, but the one night we had was excellent.

N'a pas aimé Not much! It was a little noisy in the evening due to it being on a farm, but a good set of ear plugs will do!

A aimé Lovely site in a quiet, gorgeous area. Lots of wildlife and farm animals on site, very friendly farm dogs! I liked the fact it had in-built showers and toilets for use - well maintained and easy access. Louise and John were so friendly and welcoming- we purchased wood from them and used the fire pits provided. It was lovely! A 20minute drive from Coniston, we completed the Old Man of Coniston hike whilst there - lots more to do around the area. Well worth a visit!

N'a pas aimé The ground is rock hard from lack of rain and generally rocky terrain with it being within a valley - we really struggled to pitch the tent in the ground and tried multiple locations on the site but it was all rock hard. Definitely bring really strong tent pegs or even something more substantial, and a strong mallet! Louise and John were so lovely and lended us some strong yard nails to use to pitch the tent - can’t thank them enough for ensuring we were able to pitch safely!
