A aimé The peace and quiet. Everyone was very respectful. The the facilities were clean excellent and clean and tidy. A lovely campsite.

N'a pas aimé We didn’t see the owners at all. But I suppose that was the vibe of the place.

Réponse du gestionnaire : Thank you for your review, sorry we did not get a chance to chat when you were staying, I had quite a few changeovers on the glamping units so I was kept very busy cleaning them and the showers and toilets as well as the admin and family and animals to look after and Philip has been flat mending things and working hard on the farm. We do try to pop over when we have a spare minute but at this time of year it can be difficult so we do apologise we were not able to meet you, best wishes, Sarah

A aimé Quarry hill was fantastic. The views were stunning. The showers were hot and there was lots of water- no stinting there. They had flushable loos with an outside sink and a washing up area all very clean and tidy. Paul and his wife were very friendly and simply couldn’t do enough to help us. They run an excellent cafe which serves hot food made there on the premises as well as the usual teas and coffees. I had waffles and they were delicious . The campsite was quiet and calm a great place to come to for a break. There’s also a pub called the Foxhound Inn that’s about 20 minutes walk from the site. The food is delicious and the servings are HUGE! So all up we had a brilliant time at the Quarry Hill campsite 10 out of 10.

N'a pas aimé The area where we camped was great but the only slight thing I would address is levelling out the tent area. It was still on a minor slope.
