A aimé Peaceful even though close to pub and customers also parked cars in field. Well spaced pitches. Ok for a night or two to explore area. Good in pub very good,

N'a pas aimé When we first pulled in, we needed to fill up with water. Where the water tap is, there was very unsightly piles of wood, and toot lying around. Looked awful! Saving grace you can’t see it once you are on your pitch. Bins were already overflowing so very difficult to dispose of our waste.

A aimé The Surroundings were lovely, food in restaurant was good home cooked food and delicious. Friendly hosts.

N'a pas aimé Toilets and showers!! Due to our shower not working, had to use the onsite facilities. Shared loos male/female, I personally hate and they were grubby! Shower wasn’t much better and full of spiders!!! Aargh!!!

We are sorry if you found the toilet & shower block not to your liking, we do take cleanliness seriously & it is cleaned everyday. With constant lighting and doors left open it is an attraction for insects. I feel you may not have found all the facilities as we do have separate male / female toilets and also a family room includes a toilet, shower and baby changing station. N'a pas aimé Not much imagination with layout of pitches. Very muddy despite being shingle. Toilet block needs serious overhaul, showers are awful, one temperature which was too hot for me, and shower head stuck on ceiling which means you get wet hair or a bad back trying to avoid getting wet hair!

N'a pas aimé Firstly getting into the site was a pain. Metal gates to open and close, followed by a barrier. Hard standing pitch was in fact the gravel rd you drive round, parked in a line behind other vans. Little imagination. The toilet blocks were pretty awful, so dated, shower head had a tiny flow, loads of cobwebs and dead insects, and they’d been there some time. And at £30 for the night, I’d expect 5 star facilities. This certainly was not. Ok we stayed for one night, thank god!! I think the manager has to take these negative reviews and do something about them, instead of being defensive!! I wouldn’t recommend and would not visit again!

Réponse du gestionnaire : Security is there for your own safety its a POSITIVE not a negative! The gates would normally be open but unfortunately the barrier wasn't closing so the gates had to be shut... is that really a big deal?!!! £30 for 5 Star facilities I think you are having a laugh.... its a camp site in a rural location get real!! Please however take time to read the POSITIVE reviews above and below of people who stayed the same time as you and gave us 10 out of 10 maybe the problem doesn't lie with us??

A aimé Lovely peaceful place. Well laid out, particularly liked the hedges separating the pitches, felt more private. Facilities excellent, very clean, modern and warm. Couldn’t fault it.

N'a pas aimé I guess the only thing I would say is the cost is rather high but you get what you pay for!
