A aimé Welcoming staff, great pitches with amazing views, fantastic food choices, close to a shop and pizzeria, pool, shady spaces...clean toilets and showers. Reading other reviews I was a little nervous of the unisex facilities and I would have preferred a door on the shower..however this was not a deal breaker.

A aimé Warm welcome, lovely views, electric hook up if needed, quiet but lots to see, one toilet and shower which were clean and just what was needed in the heat.

A aimé Near to sea and walking distance to the town and had electric and place to get water...

N'a pas aimé Loads of dog poo in the gravel and quite untidy... I think a bit overpriced for what you get..an electric hook up and water..very basic...

You rated us very low for facilities, but with a swimmimg pool, gym, garage, beach, arcade, children's play area bowling alley, supermarket and toilets all within 100 yards, as well as a pub, I am unsure what else might be wanting. Sorry you did not enjoy your stay.

N'a pas aimé Not a dislike at all..but as they should be, dogs need to be on leads and it be a bonus if there was an allocated fenced in space where dogs can run off lead. The walk to the public footpaths etc is along quite a busy road so to have a run at the site would be awesome.

A aimé Beautifully kept site, immaculate loos and showers, owners have a fantastic information pack and were very welcoming. Dog walk area was stocked with poo bags and bins and toys! Short walk to shops. Because of other reviews, I knew it was next to a very busy road, so i bought ear plugs and slept very well! Looks gorgeous at night due to all the fairy lights..lovely setting.

A aimé Facilities of showers and loos were spotless. Lovely view across the valley, great for an overnight getaway

N'a pas aimé I think the site is undergoing refurbishment which didn't affect us but parts do look unfinished and tatty..that said I'd still use it as a stop off again.

A aimé The quiet and the walks around the woodland where we could let our pooch off lead.

N'a pas aimé Despite all the positive reviews which swayed our decision to stay here, our experience was less positive sadly. I was asked to pay up front, although the two other motor homers were not. We had issues with communication, we wanted the WiFi code and it was eventually sent to me at half midnight on our first night..and then it was rubbish. We did try to mention this but again no response from the owner. We then met one owner who apologised and said they would investigate..but no reply. So we ended up paying a lot of money for the pitch and electricity..and ended up having to use all my own data..no sign of the chemical waste disposal and to be honest, because of the lack of answer to messages or calls, we gave up on even asking. Such a shame as we had high hopes. And I am still waiting for my email receipt of payment...despite asking twice.

Réponse du gestionnaire : Sadly Sarah, as my husband explained , I was very poorly on the day you arrived and despite being the weekend before Christmas he did still pop down twice but you were out and then upon catching you on the phone you mentioned that you had come here intending to work. Our wifi is complimentary rather than guaranteed and subject to the usual ups and downs of the provider. We would always advise customers of this if mentioned that they are planning to 'work' that the wifi is not guaranteed and not to rely on it although we rarely have a problem. My husband would happily have pointed out the chemical waste disposal if you had mentioned you hadn't spotted it. With regard to your ratings on child friendliness and cleanliness in our woodland site the only area that can be cleaned is the waste point which you did not visit and we are an adult only holiday location hence NO children's facilities. All our guests staying with is for the first time settle 14 days in advance for Christmas, new year and Easter bookings.

A aimé Lovely views, small but basic site which met all our needs. Accommodating host Steve was lovely. Facilities were a bit dated but clean (although a squeegy mop in the shower room might have helped keep the floor a bit cleaner...I would have been happy to do a wipe after use) Close to walks and the best pub where we ate the nicest pub grub I have had in a long time...highly recommend visiting for your dinner. Road was close and there was some noise but after 10pm, it did not disturb our sleep at all.

A aimé Everything! The site is beautifully maintained and the facilities are always gleaming. It is quiet, the owners are friendly and accomodating. We come back often and love it!

A aimé We were welcomed by the friendly warden and shown around and given a choice of non electric pitch in the lower field. Facilities were spotless, lovely dog walks and pub. Will definately return.

A aimé Location is wonderful. So many brilliant dog walks, a couple of lovely pubs, particularly the one in the village. It's quiet and simple. There are enough facilities, ie loo, shower and place to wash up, get water and empty loo...and nothing else...which suits us very much.

N'a pas aimé Not so much a dislike, but the loo/shower doesn't seem to get cleaned often, and trying to clean it down yourself with the mop that's provided didn't leave me doing a very good job, that said, it still is fine as a simple loo/shower...in terms of staff, we didn't actually see anyone!! But they were on the end of a text I believe, should they be needed. Of course its a busy working farm, so they will be busy.

A aimé Idyllic spot, small site right on the river. Amazing pub within walking distance. Shower, loo, washing up space. Everything you need!!

A aimé Warm welcome, fantastic size pitch and right next to a field suitable for dog walking. There was a loo, shower room and washing up facilities

N'a pas aimé The only small thing for us was lack of hot water in the washing up sink and in the shower / loo sink - we combatted that by boiling a kettle to use to wash up with, but would have been nice to have had hot water. Admittedly we didn't mention this to owner who I am sure would have tried to rectify issue as she was so accommodating and friendly.
