A aimé Lovely little site, Paul was very friendly. The site is very clean throughout. Situated just behind a pub that does home cooked meals, and a good Indian estaurant in walking distance. Fishing lake which is in the price of your stay..

A aimé Everything, peaceful, clean and lovely owners, very friendly. Always checking that everything is clean in shower blocks. Nothing too much trouble..we will definitely be back.

A aimé This is a perfect little site, friendly staff. The pub is great too, dog friendly, pleasant staff and good food. Nice quiet site. And the fishing for husband is a bonus.

A aimé Lovely site, nice and quiet. Lovely food at the pub, with friendly staff and locals. The Indian restaurant a five min walk was also very nice. Hubby enjoyed the fishing. Lovely walk at the side of river trent. Toilet and showers always nice and clean. We will definitely be returning

A aimé Beautiful surroundings, clean and tidy throughout. Staff all very friendly. Food in all outlets was fresh, piping hot and of good quality

A aimé This is a peaceful, tranquil site. Yes back to basics, small toilet and showers, but very clean.

A aimé Large Pitches, clean toilets and shower, with plenty of hot water. Tranquil fishing. Pub next door food is good and not expensive. The owners are very friendly and welcoming.

A aimé Lovely peaceful campsite, well kept grounds and nice fishing. Large Toilet and shower block, clean and modern.

A aimé The site was ok !!! Think there was on issue with the cafe/bar, nothing much left on the menu, this was on the Friday when we arrived and got less of a choice on Saturday. The toilets and shower blocks seemed to be cleaned only once a day, so as the day went on they wasn't nice. (But I don't understand why people can't clean up after themselves). We was asked if we minded a van going at the back of us, last minute booking. We didn't mind until we had a large family with very loud kids running up and around our van all weekend. Not giving us any consideration.

The café is in the process of changing over of management, we are sorry that this meant there was not the usual choice of dishes. We are also sorry to hear that the family at the back of your pitch were not considerate.

A aimé This place is stunning !!! Peaceful, well kept grounds, clean showers ect. You can tell the owner takes pride in his work, and it certainly pays off. Husband enjoyed a couple of days fishing too.

A aimé There are some stunning walks around the area, lovely peaceful area. The pub food was lovely.

N'a pas aimé The shower block was a bit disappointing, for the price we paid for the stay. (Just compared to the other places I have been too) just felt a bit neglect. The welcome we got wasn't the friendliest, and when booking a table for a meal, they where a little abrupt.

A aimé This site is beautiful, peaceful, and well kept The owners were so friendly, and giving everyone the time of day even though they had loads to do. All the facilities were clean and regularly checked. The grounds of the site was tranquil, walking around the well kept lakes. The pub down the road did amazing meals, and also dog friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be returning.

A aimé This site is a little gem. A lovely friendly welcome, and very helpful with advice on the walks which are peaceful and has lovely scenery. The whole site is kept well maintained, clean and tidy the whole way through. The shower blocks are a wow factor, just beautiful.
