A aimé Everything! Extremely warm welcome, pitch had a wonderful view, large pitches, so much wildlife, easy to get to, peaceful and quiet!

A aimé Large pitch sizes with barriers between pitches, lovely staff, excellent location to explore coast and new forest, breakfast cooked to order, dog exercise field, on site shop and use of spa and gym facilities at sister site!

N'a pas aimé We loved this site and plan to return next year. Our only slight disappointment was that the showers were Luke warm

A aimé The lakes, the dog walks around the lakes, friendly maintenance staff, local national trust

N'a pas aimé I feel we were mislead by the positive reviews and the photos. Our pitch was directly in front of the play park with no lakes in view. The children were running around our van all weekend, hitting it with a football, throwing stones down the slide past 23:00. Children were on go karts and segways. It wasn't relaxing. The showers were blocked and the facilities needed a deep clean. There are a LOT of pitches and it is a lottery where your pitch is.

N'a pas aimé That you had to pay £1 for the shower when it is already £10 per night for electric, this site used to be much more reasonable

A aimé Everything! Beautiful large site, friendly available staff, great facilities, wildlife, warm dog washing station! Beautiful dog walks including a large nature reserve opposite the campsite

N'a pas aimé Live music started at 21:30 pm! Very loud over the campsite. Uneven pitches. Grass cutting at 08:15 am. Just minor niggles, overall was very enjoyable

N'a pas aimé Pitches were very close together…. Lots of pitches to a small field. Very noisy with lots of children and off lead dogs. Dog fouling in front of caravan, stepped in it! The site is unmanned and it was very hectic, with children and dogs etc. It was very tight to get our caravan out as although you’re asked not to, others had parked their cars in front of their pitches. We may have just been unlucky with the other campers (very large groups) however , we wouldn’t stay again as lots of other sites in the area. I also tried to contact someone running the site and the phone wasn’t answered. On the second day the toilets were out of toilet roll and bins overflowing

A aimé - The openness of the site - The horses - The very clean and modern facilities - The friendly host - Dog friendly - Large pitches - Friendly campers - Water and electric etc very near

N'a pas aimé - Prickly weeds on the pitches - just need to wear flip/flops/shoes etc around pitch - not many walks available from the pitch, however there is plenty of space on the campsite to roam!

A aimé - being off grid as no signal - large open area - surrounding countryside and walks - the on-site shop - friendly man at reception - liked that it had wifi, although didn’t reach to caravan

N'a pas aimé - the showers were small, you had to stand under cold wAter as it warmed up and clothes/ shoes got wet behind the shower curtain as so small - the dog at reception jumped up our car and scratched it when we arrived
