The pitch was well kept and the overall site appeared in good condition. The shower/toilet facilities felt modern and clean. It’s a lovely peaceful campsite in a great location and very affordable. Dog friendly too!
N'a pas aimé : There was nothing I disliked about the site but maybe room for improvement could include having a laundry facility. There is also nothing on site for children so a small play area could help give them some entertainment.

We welcome your suggestions for improvement and we have considered them in the past, but as we aim to keep the site as affordable as possible its not something we are planning to do at present due to the additional costs it would entail.

Everyone was respectful and friendlyN'a pas aimé : Unfortunately when we arrived someone was parked in the middle of our pitch and the one next to us, and had gone out. The owners did tell us that they had been asked to move but clearly ignored them. We had to wait until they had returned and moved before we could then start setting up, not the owners fault but it wasn’t a great start after travelling over 6 hours.
Another person staying near us had a cat which they kept letting roam free and would hide under our car, even after we had made it known our dog was not friendly to cats and would react when it came near. I would keep seeing them trying to coax it from wherever it was hidden which did become a bit tedious.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review. It’s great that you found us friendly and that the once the van was moved from encroaching on your pitch you had plenty of room. We fully appreciate that after a long journey our guests want to arrive and relax, so to find out that there is a vehicle on the pitch that you have been allocated must be frustrating. Unfortunately despite giving around 10 metres of space to allow for guy ropes etc and pointing out the boundaries during check in, occasionally people will do their own thing and take more space.
With regards to the cat, we asked for it to be on a lead on more than one occasion and despite moving the cat further away from you, it was still left to roam and proved to be a problem for the whole week. Although we don’t have many owners who bring their cats on holiday, it is becoming more common, so we will be adding something to our T’s and C’s in the future.
Despite all of this we really appreciate your understanding in this matter and that you will recommend us to your friends and visit again in the future.
