Lovely clean site

Not enough dog bins. Facilities did not cater for dogs even though dog friendly.

Proximity to the beach. The bar, the beach, efficient friendly staff.

Closeness to the beach. Staff at the club house/restaurant were friendly and helpful.

For the price we paid we expected it to be better. The facilities were disgusting.

The toilets smelt like sewage and were situated in the static park a 5 minute walk away. They wasn’t clean, toilet seats were damaged and cracked, the taps either didn’t turn on or didn’t stay on and only on dryer worked. Toilet paper was sparse over the weekend too.

The showers were separate and unless you like to change in front of everyone and have a wet towel to dry with you can’t shower. The showers have a small door less changing area in-front of them or the smallest space to get changed in the actual shower but the water goes everywhere so nowhere to leave your towel or clothes without it getting drenched in water. The water doesn’t drain away quickly from person before so your standing in their water to start with.

The pitches are okay size wise but your crammed in like sardines with no real distance between you. They had a massive field empty but on the touring field about 30/35 caravans packed in. The whole set up of the space available was crappy and compact.

The chemical waste disposal point was the only place to dispose of greg and toilet waste. The area was disgusting. There was a wall at least knee height that your meant to try and lift the grey waste unit up to drain with used toilet paper and toilet wipes hanging around the drain.

The washing up area was okay but water temperature was questionable at times with the hot not being hot. The rubbish bins were overflowing at one point so smelt and had lots of flies.

Overall we won’t be coming back and we wouldn’t recommend the site to friends or family.

Site was very clean and tidy, staff and management very helpful.

Next to the beach

Toilet and shower 5 min walk away from caravan pitches.
No bins located around just the bins by shower block.
Went to there onsite restaurant was an hour wait and for them to get every single plate with missing food items.

Close to the village and the convenience stores

Long walk to the shower and toilet block from the touring pitch area
Could do with toilets and shower block relocated to this area
Club house hours inconvenient to use their toilets as could not used when closed which was a lot
Club house serve breakfast but do not open until noon

Nice site, easy to get in and off of

Not a lot to do on site for younger children, small play area and an arcade where most machines don’t work. Toilet block is a bit dated but clean

The amenities on site were convenient and we were very close to the sea.

Didn’t like the food in The Sandbank. The portions were small and expensive for what you got. Tasted like food you’d get from Iceland.

The shower block needs updating. Felt dirty and run down.

Lovely clean site. Fab touring pitch with water and electric hook up. The club house is fab. We had dinner in there and asked one of the waitresses advice on what meals to pick. We had the curry and the chicken burgers which were delicious. Lovely staff. We were a stone through from the beach.
I was expecting much worse regarding the toilet / shower block. Everyone says how far it was.
It was a couple of minutes walk. No big deal at all.
All in all we had a fabulous stay and will be going back.
We are three 40ish women with 3 teenage kids.

Our only negative was we went in the sea when the tide was out and cut ourselves on the oysters. Next time we will make sure we only go in when the tide is in.
