Does not cater for touring caravans realy toilets and showers very poor and a long way from pitch

Very clean and tidy site

toilets and showers being so far away, although we were told this when we arrived, we was allowed to use the Sandbanks toilets when it was open, but you never knew what times they opened or closed. Prices at the Sandbank quite expensive for food and drinks.

Poor facilities for touring caravans.
No separation of rubbish for recycling.
No standards or security for unruly behaviour.

Toilets showers really far from the touring. Entertainment only lasted 1 hour. We got a complaint about arguments which was not even us. Shop onside very expensive so is club house. Not a place for kids.

Close access to the beach. Lots to do driving out into the mainland- like swimming and Colchester Zoo

Sandbanks choose when they stopped serving food (8pm on a Friday night peak season) little for the kids to do(only a small play park) toilets and showers a few mins walk from the tourers, sandbanks toilets disgusting by around 3pm, no loo roll, wee all over the floor, also tried by bar staff to be over charged (bottle of wine vs glass of wine) Fellow tourers friendly mid week but very noisy tourers at the weekend, left a day early- won’t return

Close to beach and a short walk to the village

Felt like the site is aimed at static caravan owners. Got yelled at on arrival by an irate owner who said we were parked in the way - we had just arrived and were trying to find a member of staff and there was nowhere to park except stop in the road. But his attitude summed it up really. The drains flooded badly each time it rained heavily so wading through water to get to the toilet. Bar over priced. Shower block and toilets some distance away, dated with bugs and dirt in all the corners. Little in the way of entertainment. We went in August and the holiday price felt expensive for what we got. They either need better facilities for tourers or stop having them. Very little to do locally. Bar often ran out of toilet roll and / or soap. Food disappointing. Insects (particularly mosquitoes) quite a problem, no doubt worsened by the overflowing drain.

Loved it. The site is so peaceful and there’s plenty of space for the touring caravans. All the facilities are very clean and very well maintained. And the sandbanks omg the food was delicious. I’m not a burger eater but the bacon cheeseburger is one of the best I’ve tried. And all very well priced. All the staff are super friendly and will do anything they can to help. There’s plenty of costal walks so plenty of exercise if you have a dog. That Apple Watch will just keep spinning them rings.

If going in a caravan ask for a pitch not under a tree. If You don’t like spiders

Nice clean and tidy site. Lovely beach walks. Very good club house.

More bins including doggy waste bins needed.
