Great facilities, clean toilets/showers and nice washing up room with extra cleaning materials if you've forgotten something plus books to borrow. Pub across the road for food. Pitches surrounded by fields on three sides.

Bird scarer going off nearby much more regularly than NFU recommends meant the dog was scared when outside or walking and had to keep music on all the time inside to try to drown it out. Mostly pasture there but the small arable farm is a bit overboard in the scarer.

Quiet site which was well located for visiting Penrith and Keswick. Good size pitch which allowed daughter to park her camper next to mine. A big thank you to the owners. Toilets/showers were clean despite it being very wet and muddy. Would definitely stay again

Great location with beautiful countryside views. Toilet block immaculate as were the washing up facilities. Pub opposite was a great option for evening meals and very warm and welcoming. Will definitely return!

Quiet and peaceful. Clean and tidy. We didn’t meet the owner, we’d paid in advance so just pitched up and that suits us just fine.
Yes the toilets are over the road behind the pub but that wasn’t a problem. They were clean, spacious and modern. It’s not a long way and it’s a very quiet road.
Lots of lovely walks along quiet tracks. Beautiful scenery.
And the pub over the road is great. We had two very good meals.

A really peaceful spot in a great location in terms of the views, ease of access to areas of The Lake District, North Pennines, Yorkshire Dales and Northumberland and being directly opposite a pub, albeit one with limited opening hours.
The Wi-Fi at the pitch was good enough for streaming from i player.
Our pitch was level as all of them seemed to be, plenty of water points and a clean, warm, shower and toilet by the pub.

The setting and surrounding countryside ( Ousby is a lovely little village), size of pitches, laid back feel...and availability of fabulous friendly pub with great food. Toilets and showers are over the road behind pub, but they are top notch 👌🏻.

Fantastic location, lovely hardstanding pitch, with electric hook up and water. Toilet and shower facilities a stones throw away. Had mobile phone and tv signal at our pitch.
Ate at the pub on the Saturday night, food was stunning and amazing value for money.
