When you're not hanging out on the beach by the site… well, you could always try a different beach. Cala Sa Cova is nicely tucked away with clear waters for swimming and snorkelling, and there are plenty more sandy spots like Platja Sa Conca and Platja de Sant Pol (all 10 minutes’ drive away). If you'd like to see beneath the sea’s surface, head to Piscis Diving (10 minutes) for scuba adventures. Back up on dry land, there’s family-friendly fun at Pp's Park Platja d’Aro or Everest Costa Brava adventure park (both five minutes), along with a whole lot of waterslides to swoosh down at Aquadiver waterpark (10 minutes). For more grown-up outings, take a wander around the pretty village of Castell d’Aro (five minutes), visit Mas Molla winery (15 minutes) or play a round at Club Golf d'Aro - Mas Nou (15 minutes). For a full day out, take yourselves to the fabulous city of Girona (35 minutes) to take a tour of the city walls, visit the cathedral and Arab baths and cross the Eiffel Bridge.
