Parc Bryndyfi

A aimé We originally booked an electric pitch, my bad, as we haven’t got an electric hook up in our van ! With one easy phone call to Aled, site owner, then arrival on site with the wonderful site manager Chris, we were shown suitable grass pitch where we could also park and pitch up the tent next door by a beautiful
River, all fenced off for safety but you could swim in there over the styles if you wanted too. Not too deep, just over knee height for an adult. Prime location close to Mach and Dolgellau and the local garage shop 5 minutes drive away sticks everything or something you may have forgotten.

A lovely village pub 10 minute walk down the road, lovely food and hosts there at the Penrhos Arms. Food only 6-8 though so book or don’t turn up later and expect to be fed. The site is perfectly safe for the children and not too noisy at all. All quiet by 11pm. Slept amazingly listening to the stream. The toilet and shower block were large and absolutely immaculate.. truly cannot rate this campsite any higher for location, customer care and cleanliness.. thank you for helping contribute to an amazing weekend !!

N'a pas aimé Absolutely nothing to dislike on site, perfect… only issue which has nothing to do with the campsite but a warning to parents is the main road walk to the pub, albeit only 10 mins if that, it’s a bit of a fast stretch if you have younger children.

A aimé Spacious campsite with excellent facilities, friendly staff and great location. We stayed for 2 nights and couldn’t fault anything.
Chris the site manager was helpful and pointed us in the right direction for local walks.
The shower block was kept spotlessly clean and the showers were hot.

A aimé My son and I stayed here en-route to the Red Bull Hardline event which is held nearby.

Had a really friendly welcome and our choice of location on the lush grassy camping field by the river. I only used the facilities once but they were immaculate.

There is everything to like about this peaceful site in lovely surroundings, will definitely consider using again if we are in the area.

A aimé This is as they say is a hidden gem and boy how true it is. I have been touring for quite a few years now. Not many camp sites meet you personally and give you a full briefing on layout etc. Very helpful staff especially Chris who was very handy on all local amenities etc. I intend on visiting this site again as it ticks all the boxes. Shower block is very modern and spotlessly clean. Thank you all at Parc Bryndyfi for such an excellent stay which I found so peaceful and quiet. Also it is surrounded by wonderful countryside and nature.

A aimé The facilities are so clean. The location is perfect. But the thing that makes this site is the site manager Chris. Such a great guy; super helpful.

N'a pas aimé This is not a criticism of the site nor how it is run but a criticism of fellow campers. People need to recycle better as I witnessed general waste in the bottle recycling bin. This type of thing is a messy job for the site manager to sort out.

A aimé Cleanest and freshest toilet block I’ve ever seen in 20+ years of camping.

Chris - Absolute gent, very helpful, supportive and knowledgeable of the area.

Site wasn’t anywhere near capacity so there was a lot of space. Speaking to Chris I can see why they are happy with the numbers, the site benefits from being quiet enough to tick over.

Access to the river Dyfi.

Short walk to the nearest pub, definitely worth checking out.

Electric pitches are a really good size.

Bottom field looked fantastic, will be staying on a non-electric pitch next time I’m here.

A aimé The Facilities are immaculate, In my 20 years of camping, I've never seen such well taken care of pitches or showers. They were a joy to use. Had the trickle of a river all night and the occasional hubbub from wildlife.
