N'a pas aimé Tent pitch located next to the toilet entrance meaning everybody squeezed through the gap of your tent and car to get to the toilet.

This shouldn’t be a tent pitch and should be segregated rather than a free for all.

Kids running around the tent and over the guy ropes.

Swarmed by wasps meaning no peace and getting stung not once, but twice. Commotion from the toilets all of the time. Hand dryers on the go constantly and people getting locked in the toilets.

Tent lit up at night because of the lights from the toilets on all of the time.

Cleanliness of the toilets/showers could do with some improvement. The showers on the outside have no drainage meaning your standing in a bath trying to have a shower as the water does not flow or drain and overflows the shower basin into the floor.

Terms and conditions state that dogs are required to be kept on a lead at all times however some people did not abide by this meaning random dogs were letting themselves into your tent.

We had a dog ourselves so did not appreciate other dogs encroaching where we are trying to relax.

Bins were an eyesore from the minute we got on site, overflowing, rubbish on the floor and surrounded by wasps.

We understand your concerns about pitch C1 and appreciate your honest feedback. It has historically been one of our most requested pitches due to its close proximity to the facilities, but we understand it may not be suitable for everyone. We want to assure you that guests are always welcome to request a pitch further away at the time of booking, and we're always happy to accommodate such requests when possible.

We're very sorry to hear about the issues you faced with wasps and other guests' dogs. We do have a strict policy that all dogs must be kept on a lead, and we will be reinforcing this with our staff to ensure all guests are reminded of the rules. We also understand your frustrations with the overflowing bins. We've recently upgraded our rubbish collection to twice a week to prevent this from happening in the future.

We will also be investigating the issues you've highlighted with the toilets and showers, particularly the drainage problems and the constant noise from the hand dryers. This is certainly not the standard we aim for, and we will address these points with our maintenance team immediately.

We hope you will consider staying with us again in the future, and we'd be happy to assist you in booking a more secluded pitch.

We apologize for the presence of cobwebs around the door. While our team cleans all spiderwebs after each departure, new ones can appear very quickly, especially in the summer. We also appreciate you mentioning the heat inside the pod. Due to the material the pods are made of, they can get quite hot during the summer months, and we are looking into additional ways to help manage this.

A aimé I like the glamping pod that we stayed in. It was clean on arrival. Surprisingly spacious. Enough room for the 4 of us.

N'a pas aimé The toilet block wasn't the cleanest and there are not a lot of showers available. The separate shower on the side was better power wise, but flooded which made getting dressed tricky at times.

Really clean toilets and showers.
Massive play area for kids or adults.
Brilliant location.
Beautiful woodland walk with horses and a river next to site.
Amazing pub within walking distance called The Newcastle Arms. Great food , great beer garden.

N'a pas aimé A bit pricey for dogs. Should be a set price not charged each night.

A aimé We had an end pitch so ended up having extra space on the opposite side of the caravan which worked well for us for playing games, the site was nice and quiet plenty of space for the little one to play and it was all kept nice and tidy

A aimé A smaller site, well kept and really clean facilities.
The park is perfect for younger kids and the camping field is brilliant for burning energy with kids or dogs.
The field is fenced so you can feel comfortable letting the kids run round whilst you watch from the tent.
Another brilliant park a 5 minute walk up the road as well as shops, takeaways and river walks.
Everyone was respectful with noise levels and after 10.30 things got very quiet.
Will definitely be back, despite the awful weather we had a fantastic time.

A aimé Lovely peaceful campsite. Pitches are clearly marked and very spacious. Layout was very easy to navigate. Toilets and showers were cleaned twice a day. Showers were warm and powerful. Washroom was big enough too with 3 sinks in there. Very friendly welcome on arrival. Bonus of having the WiFi that stretched to the pitch too. Pitches were level.
