Hillcrest Views Campsite

A aimé Great location. Countryside but shops only 20 minutes away by cycle. Beautifully kept site. Clean and well maintained. Lady owner so friendly and helpful and great family atmosphere with the other campers definitely highly recommended

A aimé Great set up, most helpful, friendly staff. To date it's my favourite campsite ever, this should be the template for all sites. Also a great location as a base for seeing all of Cornwall's beauty.

Réponse du gestionnaire : Wow - Keith! This is such a wonderful reflection and if I'm honest, it is just as much a credit to all of our customers, like yourselves as it is to our small team! Whilst I had an original image 8 years ago of what I would prefer the site to look and function like, being a mother with 2 babies under 2 - all the rest has been built off the back of all the feedback we have received over the years...taking on board what people like and need and rolling with that the best we can each year - little by little - to what it is today! It's been an absolute pleasure to bring it up to today's point and more than anything - being able to share it with such a wonderful array of customers, like yourselves! So, thank you, very much too and we wish you all the best for the rest of your Summer!

Not just on the farm but in the lovely area with live in for its nature, easy access and tracks galore to explore! And the new wash bay is going down a treat so I'm really pleased this is now up and running in full swing for you all to benefit from - especially the wonderful conversations that spark up, across the bowls of dishes....

A aimé Herb garden. Big flat pitch. Very nice clean bathroom/toilets/facilities. Water, electric and waste all on pitch. Views. Value for money. Everything. Manager even gave us a jump start to leave as flat battery. Best one we have used so far out of over 50.

Luckily I have so many customers who also grow their own produce so not short of suggestions on what to try for next year to avoid mainly feeding the local slug community! The host was very welcoming and helpful.
This site makes a good base for visiting the coast path

Réponse du gestionnaire : Thank you very much for a lovely review and of course your custom. We really appreciate your custom and as a side note we have always had a freezer at request in our barn. However, with the new upgrade to the wash-bay area it is now out in the new walkway for everyone to use at their ease now. Thank you for the feedback though as this is help we keep refining the site and it's very much appreciated.

A aimé Hillcrest Views is exactly the kind of campsite you hope to find when travelling in a campervan quiet, clean and relaxed. The site sits on a hill with wide open countryside views, making evenings feel calm and private. It’s the ideal stop if you want somewhere peaceful but still close to Cornwall’s best beaches and cliff walks. My favourite campsite in Cornwall!
