A aimé Nice location & quiet - facilities basic, but no problem with that

N'a pas aimé The Elsan point needs urgent attention - frankly its disgusting, seems to be blocked, it's the worst I've ever come across.. and we camp in France .

No one around to point this out to, albeit it must be known about

A aimé The setting is beautiful! A walk through the Japanese garden leads you to the woods. Here your dog can run free as you stroll the myriad of paths, laden in the autumn leaves.

The pitches are spacious hard standing with grass areas and the washup, showers & toilets are perfectly clean.

Great campsite for sightseeing, Guildford & the popular market town Horsham are close by. Worthing & Brighton are not too far by road either. Or jump on the train at Horsham and you are in London in less than an hour.

WiFi is very poor but I'm not complaining because it's nice to put the tec down for a few days.

A aimé Love this Site Well run We ordered dinner for the next day Was good And the price Lots of nice walks But not near shops So be prepared to take your own food Club house quite But if you like peace Great And also Not bad prices This was my second visit And we will be returning Thank you Springbok

Thank you for your review, it is lovely to hear that you are a returner and that this was your second visit.
It sounds like you got to use our facilities including frequenting the bar and taking advantage of our delicious meals served by our amazing catering team.
We are in a remote setting which is the beauty of our little site especially if you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle. We try to cater for everyone so that at Springbok so you can order meals, enjoy a drink or two in our little bar or visit our onsite shop to stock up on provisions.

A aimé Lovely setting, very quiet field, facilities were very clean.

N'a pas aimé Only 1 shower which was fine as not busy but might not have been at a busier time. Gravel hard standing very noisy especially with other guests arriving in caravan at midnight. Much more peaceful when moved to field the next day.

A aimé Amazing campsite! Beautiful gardens and areas to walk with the dogs. The social centre and small shop are convenient. And it’s possible to order food in advance if required. Very peaceful, and all the staff that we met were friendly. The shower and toilet block, are cleaned daily and nice hot showers

A aimé The area is lovely, the main house has Japanese garden which is great to walk about, the residential home is friendly warm and inviting and prices are very reasonable, if you want dinner or breakfast you must book 24 hours in advance, definitely be back

N'a pas aimé Nothing, if I have a small complaint it’s the showers need the black mould removed but very clean

Réponse du gestionnaire : Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. The Estates Team have been working hard in the Japanese gardens and have made it a lovely peaceful and tranquil place on the estate to either walk or sit and take in the sights and sounds of the surroundings.
We are also a very busy little site and our Housekeeping Team do a fantastic job of keeping the facilities clean for our guests. We try not to disrupt our guests that are staying on the site so last week we closed for a couple of days to give it a deep clean and get it ready for the next season.

A aimé We stayed at this campsite in our VW campervan for the night and absolutely loved it. The pitches were spacious and level, with easy access to electric hook-ups. We particularly liked the mix of hard standing and grass, as we wanted to check out our new awning, the different surfaces made this really simple. The location was peaceful and surrounded by beautiful countryside — perfect for morning walks and watching the sunset from our van doors. The facilities were spotless, with clean showers and toilets, and there was even a small camp shop with essentials in the main house, very useful as we forgot a toothbrush! We will definitely stay again, and maybe even book a meal!

A aimé Quiet, small, well kept site. Plenty of hot water in the shower shack. Only stayed one night as we were passing through but it looked like there were plenty of nice walks. Would definitely recommend.
