A aimé We liked - having hedges around the tent pitches privacy and some protection from strong wind - clean and tidy shower block nearby - complex facilities clean, new and in good order - good choice of food types

N'a pas aimé One of our neighbours played music way too loud, but cut it by the kids bedtime Wifi quite good, sometimes patchy

A aimé The space available - we went for one night 30th May 2021 almost out of Covid restrictions and many other sites were fully booked. Good proximity to Bristol, Bath and the steam railway a few hundred yards away at Bitton (Avon Valley Railway) AND the trains go past the site on top of an embankment. The only facilities are two portaloos, a fresh water point and a non-drinking water point all at the same place - so you might have a 200 yard walk if your pitch is at the other end of the site. No distance for the young and fit, but those with mobility problems need to be aware. Just ask the very friendly and helpful Pam when booking. Good security arrangement at the entrance gate. There is no entertainment 'complex' or activities laid on which was fine with us but I cant see an option for 'not applicable'. I don't know if it has Wifi but I can't see an option for no comment Nor is there any 'accommodation' to grade other than my own tent!

A aimé Great communication with Christina before booking and after, followed by a friendly greeting on arrival and help and advice throughout our two-day stay. Quiet site with 'No music after 11pm' rule, so, no problems with noisy neighbours. Portaloos well looked after, good shower cabins too. Immediately next door to The Black Dog Inn but didn't go in.
