A aimé The views, nature, ease of arrival and set up, not too busy even when full, adults only, pitches fairly big, lovely local pubs and walks

N'a pas aimé The road noise sometimes is unbearable, take ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper like me. Obvious lack of proper toilet block and showers but not needed for us as we are self sufficient

A aimé Lots of green fields to explore and lots of variety of fruit and veg growing, was great to see. Chickens and ducks a farm shop were a lovely add to the stay. Good price for short night away.

N'a pas aimé Road noise was unbearable! There’s only a bush separating you from the busy A road and felt like you were parked in a lay by in the first field. Lots of people driving up and down the drive/lane in the day next to it. We moved up to the B field which was a bit over grown still could here loud trucks and bikes on the road but slightly quieter in there. Toilets were really far away from pitches so didn’t see them on our stay. No sinks for washing up, toilet disposal or bins that we saw.

Réponse du gestionnaire : Thank you for your review. There is currently a diversion in place, due a road closure nearby and consequently an increase of traffic, but it is usually very peaceful and pleasant at night. The B field is further away from the road and the toilets. We do not have a washing up facilities but we do have a chemical waste disposal and bins are available.

A aimé Quietness. Large pitches. Wonderful nature surroundings. Newly born calves. Toilets lovely and warm. Easy hassle free arrival, turn up and pick a pitch! Would definitely stay again

N'a pas aimé The smell of the farm could be an issue for some, but didn’t bother us much.

A aimé Arrive when you like, easy access, hassle free, all hard standing pitches, very quiet and relaxing

N'a pas aimé Not many local walks one to the pub but it’s incredibly boggy, only a portaloo but wasnt a problem for us as we have a toilet in the van
