A aimé Nice pitch. Good shower block. Good for cycling/walking along the sea front. Lovely stay.

N'a pas aimé The traffic noise might displease some, but it didn't bother us at all. More recycling bins within the site would be nice.

A aimé Large level pitch for a motorhome. Showers snd toilets were good. People were friendly and helpful. Ideal stopover. The plus point was the location, close to the loch and the rspb site nearby.

N'a pas aimé Scruffy overall, and the holiday chalet area was a let down.

Réponse du gestionnaire : Thank you for your review, we are glad you enjoyed your stay. I would like to point out that we do not have holiday chalets. These are not part of the caravan park they are in the working and storage area where we scrap old caravans etc. To say the Park is scruffy overall is untrue and unfair. We are in the process of redeveloping several ststic pitches which are empty so they look unloved at the moment but this is a work in progress.

N'a pas aimé Poor facilities for campers and motorhomers. Toilets are shabby, and in need of refurbishment. Pitches are disorganised and allocated randomly.

A aimé Lovely helpful lady and her husband. Nice pitches in a nice setting. Clean showers and toilets.

N'a pas aimé We had a swarm of ants invade our motorhome, but that was probably our fault for leaving food out.

A aimé It's a great idea, having camping in a farmyard environment, and the animals were nice to have around. The pitches are big and flat and the views over the fields are superb. Nice location too, with long walks and a couple of pubs fairly close by. Guy, the manager, is very friendly and helpful, and we tried the the farm burgers which were superb.

N'a pas aimé The facilities need to be updated/rebuilt. Just 3x toilet cubicles and x2 shower cubicles servicing potentially quite a large number of camping guests. The real problem is these cubicles (whilst clean) are directly opposite the two washing-up stations in close proximity. So while you're doing your washing-up, you're listening (and smelling) to someone in the loo. In addition, when they vacate the loo, they can only wash their hands at the washing-up station which, if in use, seems rather inappropriate. Also, while there is a location to dump your toilet waste, there is no such place for your grey waste.

Réponse du gestionnaire : The nice things you have said are accepted. Your dislike comments really offend me and its just as well you don't come back. Last weekend was exceptionally busy, mainly due to the fact we could not close the bookings via pitch up due to a major break down with the internet. Notes were left in the toilets apologising for how busy we were. We did open other WC and some portables toilets, if only you asked!!!!! We do not have any washing stations in this area. There are several sinks for people to wash hands etc so what you were doing in there washing up god knows. I believe you were in a camper van. we have noticed especially this year we have had many more camper vans, the problem is that have limited space internally for washing up. Re grey waste and toilet waste how do you think we can run a site without these facilities, again maybe you should have asked !!!!!!!! You were here for only one night - Unfair! Norman
